Check with your church. They may be able to help you out. Also, call some other local churches. Many of them are doing holiday food drives, etc. It's a little late to be appealing to strangers. But, I wish you the best. 

I did,I been waiting on the salvation army for 5 weeks to call me back I called several times to check,but the lady in conroe was so rude. I just apply for foodstamps I hated to but my husband boss said there no work. So I had to do what I had to do. Salvation army never called me back. 

Sounds like you are doing what you need to do.

Good time to teach that Christmas is about giving to others and have the kids volunteer at a nursing home or shelter. That is the greatest gift you can give them. 

Yes,not worry if they don't get presents,but a Christmas dinner ,and food. We appreciate it 100%. My kids our just excited to have a tree,and there stocking with lip gloss in that stuff called slim.LOL God amazing he just always there when we need HIM. 

What school district are your kids in? Many of them are giving out Christmas dinner baskets.

Again, also there are several local churches handing out dinner baskets, call around. Also, reach out the The Mission in New Caney and HAAM. They may have some resources or be able to point you in the right direction.

Freebyrd I did they said everything was close. I'm waiting on Houston health in human services to call me back. I apply for foodstamps,I got appt at 3pm. Perfection I'm not gonna worry about the toys. Income tax in February,and we will pay bills save the rest. In they will get presents than. They excited that they got a stocking. 

If I get assistance from Houston health in human services I will delete this. Do anybody no how to delete this.

I always like to help people out especially at Christmas but after reading the threads on KU for the last few days, I'll have to pass since I don't know you personally.

It's obvious that there are seversl KU scammers who have been using the goodwill of folks on here for quite some timm. Try your church where they know you. Good luck.

I found this one and Kingwood.com through Google. 

I find it funny that KU gets new members just to ask for a hand out.
