My friend just asked me to take in (2) four month old male kittens. They still need their kitten shots and deworming and will need to be neutered soon.

Does anyone know of any LOW COST vets or mobile clinics in the Kingwood or surrounding area?

I've already tried the yellow pages & looked on the internet without much luck.

I've got to do it on the cheap or hubby won't let us keep them.

Thanks

It looks like the Mobile Vet Clinic won't be hear us until the 30th. After that we can see what September brings. We need to see them too.

Tractor Supply in Porter used to have a sign in their parking lot, every other Saturday.

Check with Walgreen's too. They sponsor low cost pet services every once in while.

Thank you so much. Please keep the info coming guys ...

Does anyone know if there is an low income requirement for using any of these services? We're not considered low income, we're just on a tight budget.

We took our kitties to Pine Forest Animal Clinic in Conroe on 242. They don't have a website, but they do have a facebook page.

There is no restrictions for Mobile Vet Clinic or Walgreens as far as I know. You can call the Mobile Vet for pricing, too. They sell me refills over the phone. They are so nice and accomodating!

HEB also does low cost shots, actually not HEB, but the people go to the different HEB's. You could probably call them and ask.
As for spay/neuter, you will most likely have to go to a clinic for that.
I would check with Dr.Hajovsky - Animal Care Center, in Huffman. It's just past the bridge that goes over Lake Houston, on the left. 281-324-2615 Or Crosby Vet., in Crosby, on 2100. They will be the cheapest, but better get an appointment now, they may be backed up, and may take awhile to get in. 281-328-4221

If you can't wait for the mobile clinic, we use SNAP in Houston. The website is
snapus.org
They also offer low cost spay and neuter services.
