My SIL is having knee replacement in a few weeks and is looking for a walker. She wants one with a seat and wheels. Have not had much luck near here so I thought one of you may have one tucked away you may want to sell. Thank you.

or one of these: this exoskeleton is for real, but I don't know if there's a rental place in texas.

April, there is a medical supply place, right behind Blackeyed Pea, in Humble that I think will do rentals. It's worth a call. (Can't remember the name of it)

Use the 'wanted' category on kingwoodyardsales. Someone gave us one free that was just sitting around. "Wanted" was where they responded to my request. Good luck.

MissPris --- 11 years ago -

Isn't there also a medical supply store near Luby's

TinktheSprite --- 11 years ago -

They were advertising them at Aldi's, of all places this week!

Walker @ Walgreens

Maybe this would help her they carry this one in most of their stores out here

I'd recommend you sil asking her doctor before buying one of those. usually patients need a standard rolling walker immediately following TKR. the difference is that a standard rolling walker has only 2 wheels (so you can put your weight on it as you walk) the walker with a seat, a rollator, has 4 wheels and is not made for leaning on to as you walk.

Valentine is most likely correct. The hospital and rehab only use the regular kind. They did let my husband use the one I had bought with the seat, however, I really don't think he ever used the seat. I bought his at Big Lots.
