Hi all,

I am looking for a local part time job, and was wondering if anyone has seen any signs in the area?

Perfection --- 10 years ago -

where have you looked already?

Lots of signs on Kroger, McDonalds is growing and expanding, so is Chic Fil A so they both need more help. The restaurants in Humble all have signs out for new hires and Kingwood Hospital has a ton of RN positions open.

Also the new road construction has signs up looking for help.

I guess it all depends what sort of job you are qualified to do.

I was looking more so towards a receptionist position. Sorry, should of specified in my first post.

I have applied online to many, and have looked all around the Kingwood area to see if anyone has a sign up in a window, although i know most of the jobs are posted online nowadays. I just wondered if anyone saw anything in surrounding areas. Maybe a veterinary clinic or salon

Have you checked indeed.com ? That would be a good place to look.

Good luck. Most small businesses are looking for people who can do other things as well as reception.

napoleon is right, indeed.com is a good place to start as is the local placement agency insperity.

Thank you for the feedback!

Office positions won't have a help wanted sign in the window.

I was thinking the same thing.
If you want an office position I think you should go to each place with a resume in hand to give them. If they are hiring they would probably give you an application. If they are not, then at least they have your resume. And of course, apply online to each company. Good luck!!!

check the job section on Kingwood.com there are a few p/t jobs listed.

ruby8 --- 10 years ago -

It doesn't have to be an office, i meant a receptionist anywhere. Salon, vets, etc....

Be careful with Kingwood.com. Some of the jobs are fakes/scams. For example, the Lake Houston Allstate Insurance job is a fake. Just check the jobs for validity before applying.

Check with Super Cuts ... sometimes they look for receptionist.

There's one in Humble and one in Atascocita.

Office Depot in Atascocita has a sign on the door. Not reception work, but still a paycheck.

The Hallmark Store by the HEB had a sign for a part-time position.

This popped up on indeed.com today - a part-time concierge at a senior living facility in KW.

Atascazoo has a sign that says they need help. It doesn't say the position they are looking to hire for but it would be a nice environment to work in - especially if you like animals!

Aldi's in Humble by the Airport had a sign out yesterday. Associates $11.00 an hour/ Management $15.75-22.00 an hour, depending on experience.
