I live in Oregon but my friend just recently moved to the Kingwood area. Unfortunately her baby was born 3 months premature this weekend and she will be spending a lot of time in the nicu. Because I can't be there with her to bring her meals, I would like to give her a gift of finding some kind of meal service that can deliver prepared suppers to her, or where she can go pick them up once a week or something. I want to make sure she spends the most amount of time with that baby possible but that her family is still eating healthy meals.
Does anyone know of a service or company in the area that does this? I am across the country so any help you can provide would be truly appreciated.

What a nice thing to do! Sorry, I don't know of any services like this but I will try to keep your post at the top of the page so that others may be able to help you out. 

Contact her case manager at the hospital. They should be able to arrange something inhouse compliments of you through the cafeteria at the hospital. What a good friend you are!!!

Inside out will deliver meals from certain restaurants here in Kingwood. I have never used them but might serve your purpose.

A lot of personal chefs have business cards at the Medical Center hospitals. I assume the baby is at one of those.

I second talking to a case manager or social worker there for a list. They can even deliver to the hospital. 

Do you know which hospital theyre at? If theyre in the medical center there are a few companies that make prepared healthy meals.
