It is absolutely gorgeous outside today. I'm sitting by the pool with a tall glass of iced lime water, watching my kids jump on their trampoline. Such a great Saturday so far! 

I slept in. Did I miss it? Sure looks pretty out there!

Enjoy! I'm sitting on the back patio with a big ole glass of sweet tea....and it's delicious! I've needed this to lift my spirits and hopefully clear my head of the cold that's been lingering for a couple of weeks. 

ABSOLUTELY wonderful outside! I've been out in my yard since about 10:30 and just now came in. There is actually a yard, with dirt and grass out there! I had almost forgotten.

Oh, and lots of Vit D just all over. Could not have asked for more. Hope tomorrow is just as great. 

Went to a friend's house and helped them move in. I was dreading it, but we really lucked out with this great weather. 

I got the warm greenhouse plants watered and cleaned, did some repotting, cleared off a flower bed full of dormant ginger and Elephant Ear. Then I blew off the patios and got the lawn mowed, edged and cleaned. It was wonderful to feel the warmth and be in the sunshine again. Do I dare ask for more?? 

Ooo, ginger! 

The ginger smelled good when I hacked them down. These are White Butterfly Ginger that produce a big white fragrant flowers fro late summer through fall. In fact, it was blooming during our first early frosts. And I saw new growth already! 

It was gorgeous! And I got to play with horses today!!

I belong on a ranch with the smell of horses, horse poop, hay, dogs and cats and Mother Nature!
