Hello!
I delivered my first child at Kingwood hospital in 2012. We are expecting our second baby in the fall. Just wondering if anyone has delivered at kingwood hospital since the new women and childrens center has opened?

I'd love to hear your opinions good or bad. Thanks! 

I delivered my baby there in Sept. The new building is great a lot bigger rooms and more parking. I had a great experience. 

My wife delivered right after they opened up the new wing. It was very nice. 

Sad to say, but I don't know why anyone would go anywhere other than Texas Women's or the new Texas Children's Pavillion for Women. We are so close to those hospitals - I delivered all three of my kids at Women's, and I have heard great things about their new rooms following the expansion. If anything went even slightly wrong, there is just no way I could feel good about the NICU doctors up here compared to what is available in the Texas Medical Center just 30 minutes away. 

10 years ago today....if I had it to do over again, I would have gone somewhere else. 

I didn't deliver at Texas Women's but I was at it every week when I was pregnant with my son and they are really nice. I had to see a T18 specialist for my ultrasounds and monitoring. 

I delivered my daughter (first child) there in July and I had a great experience! The rooms are huge and comfortable, and the nurses were VERY attentive. I plan on delivering any future kids there :) congrats on #2 Txgrl! 

Also I'd like to add that my daughter was in the NICU for a week after she was born and they took amazing care of her! 

Not recent but my dd was born at kingwood hospital and was a preemie, spent several weeks in the NICU on full support (she was one of their first level 3 babies since they had just added that level weeks before she was born)! She received excellent care and the neonatologist's and NICU nurses were amazing!

If I had to make it to the medical center or the woodland to deliver her, one or both of us may not have made it!!
