youd think that for $80 a month they could provide Internet that woke most of the time.

I've been dancing with them over the price for months now- they gave me a deal, and then started charging me separately for my land line!

Set an extra alarm.

I have had no problems with my centurylink internet or phone.

After being down for five hours it's working again. The tech said its a known problem in Riverchase/riverbend, they just haven't figured out what's causing it.

Lol

It's down again. It seems this started for me at least a few weeks ago. It's been out every other day it seems like and I have to call multiple times and ask to escalate before anyone can tell me whats going on. Apparently there has been a bandwidth congestion issue for some time and no ETA to resolve. That is a separate issues from the recent string of outages. As someone mentioned above I had recently called to get some discounts applied to my bill and I just received it this week. It looks like I will be calling them about that as well because its not correct.

Centurylink internet actually worked for 7 hours today. Just went down again.

Soap --- 10 years ago -

Yup right at 9PM it went down.

them --- 10 years ago -

It goes down on the hour. It comes back on the hour.

Get suddenlink. It's faster and mine has not gone down yet. We got it a few months ago

Soap --- 10 years ago -

Suddenlink won't work for me as they cap bandwidth usage. I would have to get the 150MB service just to get a 500GB cap and the cost is ridiculous for it. This is just frustrating. Typically when I call I have to argue with them about the outage. They usually tell me they don't show any issues and that the problem is on my side.

Soap --- 10 years ago -

Anyone else having issues still? I am talking to them now and they assure me there are no issues in the Kingwood area and of course it's just me having problems.

Franklin --- 10 years ago -

I have CenturyLink and I've had no problems with outages at all.

Are fiber customers different than regular customers? I think I remember someone saying that a while back.

Soap --- 10 years ago -

Yes, they are... Looks like issues are in the RiverBend/RiverChase subs..

I called earlier and they said they haven't had any reports of outages in the past 24 hours for our area. They said they don't know of any issues and unless people are calling in there wasn't allot they could do. I gave them an earful and they said they were going to dispatch someone to the field to check equipment. Sigh...
