Thank you!

What area of the law are you needing help in? That would narrow down the list of recommendations.

Davi --- 6 years ago -

Bivin is primarily bankruptcy.

But as KWPlanner said, it helps to know what specific area of law you need assistance with.

Member --- 6 years ago -

Yes, thank you both. I am looking for bankruptcy. I called Bivin this am and left a message, but haven't heard from him yet... Anyone else you can recommend? Currin Wuest don't do it- I called them, too.

I am mainly trying to find out whether I would lose my house if I file for business bankruptcy. Based on my reasearch it doesn't seems so, but I wanted to be sure. Can't get these lawyers to answer calls or call back!!!

Try calling bankruptcy attorneys outside the KW area since KW doesn't have many. They should all know the answer to your question You could also try this:

- Free legal advice is available by phone through the Houston Bar Association's Legal Lines program at (713) 759-1133. ?Legal Lines is open on the first and third Wednesday of every month between 5 pm and 9 pm, and is available for Spanish speakers on the first Thursday of every month, between 6 pm and 8 pm.

Would it be cheaper to work out payment plans and put the lawyer fees toward small payments to keep creditors happy?

Not trying to be a dick here, just concerned for your long term credit. Many employers use credit scores when vetting staff. Not a fan of that but they do.

Good luck
