Hi, my name is Jeremy Ward and I am the proud new owner of Bike Werks. I have worked there for the past 17 years. I started in high school and now my dream has came true. I have moved the business towards the front of Kingwood to a much bigger location. I think with the growth of Kingwood towards the front, I have a more centralized location. We are in the same parking lot as Chelsea's deli, oriental gardens, school of rock, embody gym, and red curry. I am going to make some changes that I hope many people like. I am here to offer a good service and good products. I want to get more people out enjoying our neighborhood with our green belts and just being outside enjoying them selves and being active. Wow- Congrats Jeremy!!! To be honest I hope the changes are for the good- I never really cared ( except for you) for the staff at Bike Werks. They always seemed to be too busy chatting with era has other or their friends to get to know the customers needs. My favorite bike shop was Better Bikes- Mike Carroll and his staff developed relationships with his customers. He sold me a bike that met my needs and was NOT the bike I had originally wanted. But over the years he had gotten to know me and my style of riding so he made a different suggestion and even though he carried the brand he didn't carry that specific bike. So I ordered it and it truly has been the best bike for me!
I'd LOVE to see you be THAT shop!!! Not just for the customers you already have but for anyone walking through the door- even if they do their own maintenance and just buy tubes, because someday they walk into your store and want to buy a expensive bike and you'll know exactly which one to suggest!!
I hope you'll carry some clothes and shoes- I teach cycling and my newbie clients need a place to get some basic inexpensive cycling shoes. I dislike Bike Barn and their "it's all about selling product" attitude!!
