For those of you who followed my sister's story, prayed for us and gave us monetary donations etc I wanted to give you an update as well as request more prayers. T has been in and out of rehab while trying to recover and was diagnosed with breast cancer in the spring. She had a double mastectomy and will have reconstruction but will not have to have treatment other than the five year tamoxifen regimen. We are so grateful for that. However, you may remember she had a special needs daughter. She unexpectedly passed away last week. We were shocked and so very sad but we know she is in heaven free of her limitations. Please pray for T, my 14 year old nephew (who found her) and the rest of our family. Thanks so much! 

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry for.......everything. Your sister, your family in general has been through more than your fair share of hardship. I am searching for words but have none that might make you feel better. Just know you and your family are in my thoughts and in my heart....hugz to you.

Thank you so much! On a good note she has come so far. She was able to stand up out of her wheelchair to hug people and walk with assistance short distances. She has come so much further than all the medical professionals said she would and we are so proud of her! 

I'm so sorry your family has to endure yet another round of challenges and sorrow. There really are no words, or any that seem to offer the comfort you and your family deserve.

Allycat, I am rarely on here but just had the urge to check before I fell asleep. I am so sorry for all that has happened. Your nephew has had way too much on his shoulders the last year. I hope and pray he is okay. I am glad T has progressed. I know it has been a big struggle. Please give her my sincere sympathy on the loss of her daughter. I have a candle burning again for her. God Bless you all. You've had more than any family can stand. Stay strong.

Please accept my condolences. Your sister's strength is an inspiration and your family will be in my sincere prayers. My little troubles pale in comparison to what your loved ones have endured. 

You are all in my prayers. and like Leila, my problems pale in comparision. Almost every time I start in on a self pity party, Jesus intervenes and points out why I should never.

You are right. Her daughter is now free of any limitation and with her Savior.
