Has anyone had any good, bad or indifferent experience from the owner of this shop on 494 use to be Sisney's auto but there is a new owner by the name of Rene Martin

Gigix4 --- 8 years ago -

Haven't heard anything recently but the last I heard was that some "relative" of his had taken it over.
Regardless, I would not trust that place with my bicycle!

Barnstormer --- 8 years ago -

What's that saying about polishing a turd?

trueginger68 --- 8 years ago -

There wasn't a new family member taking it over...I hears some guy named Rene Martin took over in a strange illegal kind of way...word is he locked everyone out and started stealing over a particular weekend and when the next Monday came they had to get the cops to come let them in and when they got there this Rene guy had dogs inside and to top it off he has a warrant for his arrest too. Seems like some o e dropped then ball on this , Mike eberly the owner let thei Rene fellow come into the property and lock everyone out while Rene stole all of Sisney's belongings

So why you here asking your question, true?

Barnstormer --- 8 years ago -

If Sisney has alot of lawsuit judgements against him, maybe the Rene Martin was collecting what he was awarded? Nevertheless, I still see the same crappy muscle cars in front of the place, like when Sisney was there. I know his brother was running it at one point.

I really don't care who owns the place especially since ownership keeps changing, I would never take my vehicle there for anything!

Wow...

Since there seems to be a lot of misinformation(read:"rumors")- let me attempt to appease y'all with the truth.

I am Rene Martin. I am a small business owner that started a mechanics shop in Humble in a glorified warehouse/storage unit. When I saw the building that was formerly known as Sisney's Auto was going to be up for rent, I immediately contacted the property owner Mike Eberly. I rented the building as of April 2nd.

Now - as far as "illegally" taking over and "stealing on a particular weekend" -
1. The only illegal part of me renting that building was the fact that the landlord leased me the building without giving the previous tenants "Sisney Auto" a 30 day eviction notice.
When I moved into the shop there was still a massive amount of stuff left from the previous tenants. Not my fault.
2. Yea, I had my dogs there. That was their new home - And dogs were a pretty good deterrent from anyone trying to come on premises without my permission...
3. Yes, the cops were called - BY ME. The cops were there to aid in making sure the removal of old property went smoothly. Yes, I did have an unpaid ticket, which was immediately paid for and I was back at the shop within an hour.
4. Yes, I did lock them out of the building on the Friday prior to the weekend in question. My possessions were in that building and I was having to deal with Richard Sisney, which if you know him, you will know that is a struggle all on its own.
5. I didn't steal anything. The remaining items were sold by the girlfriend of Richard Sisney to an individual and were removed by them. If things are missing, i'd suggest talking to some of the previous employees of that company...
I'm also going to assume you're someway affiliated with the previous tenants being that you have a pretty complete version of events, no matter how skewed/bulls*** they are. IF this is the case, it'd be great if you could eat s**t.

Y'all know where to find me . . .

whatchamacallit --- 8 years ago -

I can understand you being upset that people think you are dishonest and that you may be affiliated with the previous dishonest owner at Sisney auto, however I cannot understand what makes you think it is ok to come on this site and act a fool? Even if by some miracle, someone that reads/posts here would even consider going anywhere near Sisneys for autowork, using that sort of language and expressing the attitude you have will most certainly cause the people that read this site to choose to go elsewhere! I hope your other business decisions are made with logic, otherwise it won't be long before that space you claim to have rented is available again. Small businesses are difficult enough to make profitable, and that is even when you are doing everything you can to make it and not giving yourself bad advertisement.

Oh boy. More Sisney threads. Isn't he in prison now?

Ginger must be either a family member or GF judging by all of her defending of Sisney on previous threads. Not sure of what her point was in starting this thread. About time for the made up characters and IDs to start posting some fake support of old man Sisney, the con artist. Always entertaining.

And whatchamacallit is right (and we hardly ever agree, lol) it is just stupid as crap to come on here as a business person and show your rear end.

Your introduction and explanation showed some promise at first, but went downhill quickly. Now it just sounds like a redneck fix-it joint with another hot head owner.

trueginger68 --- 8 years ago -

Wow Rene you really have this all backwards, the cops were not called by you but buy the girlfriend to meet her at the shop since you locked her out for the weekend when she clearly be blow had until May to remove all of his property. Once the shop was opened there was thousands of dollars of equipment and tools missing from the lock out weekend....and by the he way you had absolutely no property there there are at least 3 witnesses to attest to that fact actually 6 since the buyers showed up and took pictures as well as the girlfriend and mr. Sisney had previous pics himself. And answer th So one questions when lock out all the employees 3 weeks before they were to be moved out? Why lock them out by changing the lock and adding dogs when you didn't have any property inside the shop? How will you ever prove that with no pictures but other people have pics of the day that the cops allowed the employees in so that that could finish packing and closing the business? Also his brother was not running the business... He was stealing from the business. And the girlfriend was not sealing sh was closing it down a the end...before that she was trying to keep it running in a legal fashion

trueginger68 --- 8 years ago -

Polly ester he is not in prison... And he won't be going...my point in starting this was to see if anyone has been having any issues with the new tenant....after the rip off when he took over the lease I was curious to see if he operates with customers the same way

Butterbean --- 8 years ago -

I think I'll get some popcorn...

Porter Wagoner (Mod) --- 8 years ago -

Oh boy, the great tu tu wars all over again.

mutton --- 8 years ago -

Get me some with extra butter Mr. Butters! This fight belongs elsewhere...maybe the courts but not a stupid message board. (sorry KU).

trueginger68 --- 8 years ago -

who said fight?

Innooneitrust --- 8 years ago -

1. Polyester and whatchamacallit: Y'all are right and I apologize for letting my temperament show through. Its just that the whole ordeal and having to deal with the scam artists that the previous tenants are is enough to get most peoples blood boiling. Never the less, I should have stayed above them and that mentality.

2. Trueginger, are you really so ignorant that in your rebuttal of my post that you contradict everything I say you also prove my point?!?!

And I quote:
Me - "If things are missing, I'd suggest talking to some of the previous employees of that company".
You - "His brother was not running the business...he was stealing from the business".......................

The brother was not only there the first time I looked at the building before leasing it, he was there every day leading up to that weekend and the weekend itself.

I'm done with this conversation. You have your opinion and are obviously firm in your belief of what happened. That's cool, whatever. Best of luck to you and yours, I have a business to run.
