Open up your home and break out of living in confined spaces. We can even remove structural support walls as you will see in the photos. In most cases the average cost will be less than $2,500.00 depending on what all you want us to do.

We are local and work in Kingwood and the nearby areas and have been for 26 years.

Visit our photobucket page to look at many more projects that we can complete in your home. It's posted in the next post.

I need a small place in my ceiling fixed. It was caused by a "heavy" A/C guy in my attic, then worsened by a lot of people up there that replaced my A/C. It is a very small job. Are you interested in coming by to give me an estimate?

Leila --- 7 years ago -

Do you have pictures of it finished?

We just completed the beam on Thursday. The husband was doing the rest of the work himself. We have a bathroom remodel to do for them so at some point I will take more photos and post them once he is finished. I have completed many of these walls over the years but never took photos of them except for one that I did for a Houston Police officer. It was a main support wall right in the middle of the home and if I didn't calculate the load properly and build the beam correctly his home would have collapsed, that was about 23 years ago and the sheetrock has never cracked meaning that there has never been any movement of that beam which I designed and built myself.

We had our load bearing wall removed about 12 yrs ago... Made a HUGE difference. We probably paid more than we would of liked whereas we hired a pretty large company to come in and do it and I wanted ALL their insurance in hand, YES I was nervous!!! The day they installed the brace(s) I was a nervous wreck until I recieved the call that all was done - then of course the test of time has been fine. The "main" wall in an older home with the full bath right above... I actually found a picture of a home in Traditional Home Mag.

Highly recommend doing this project!! PLUS is we can see out the front of the house and see the Christmas tree which was blocked prior...

If I remember right, I have pictures some place - we had Wood and Steel as the final "thing" going across whatever yah want to call it...

You should be advertising closing up some walls in these open concept houses. My husband was just saying this weekend that he wants to design our next house and he wants the kitchen closed off. He says as soon as I start doing anything in the kitchen he might was well just turn off the tv. Both of our last two house have had the open upstairs. It made the open living upstairs basically unusable. Closing the walls up there would have made them more livable. They always sat empty.

Looking at open concept homes and wondering why you feel this way?

Open 2 story makes for a TV sound battle if one not closed in. Been there, done that and never again.

Open concept means better wifi signal for KU posters. Suddenlink posted this to reduce customer complaints. Total conspiracy here.

In our last house you walked in the front door to a formal living and dining room. The upstairs game room had about an 8 ft opening looking down. You walked through the house to the den in the back. The game room upstairs was open about 15 feet looking down into the den. If someone was upstairs watching tv, you couldn't get away from the noise. I would go up and lay with my youngest when she was small before she went to sleep and I could hear what my husband was watching I the den like I was sitting there. The kitchen was open to the den and it is great for the person in the kitchen, but it is just so noisy.
