Windy and very rainy, and dark! 

Mostly a lot of thunder here in BBV but finally got a slow rain with it. It's really dark outside for this time of day.

Got the yard all mowed and cleaned up earlier so let it rain! We need it.

No downpour here in BBV but a nice slow, soaking rain. Perfect! Got the yard mowed around noon so let it rain! 

8/10th. Filled the rain barrel up. 

We got a little over 3/4" of rain last night. enough to turn off the sprinkler. 

The gauge measured just an inch of rain at the house. We need more.

We got rained out at the U of H Commencement. We got moved from the open stadium to Hoffeinz Pavilion. It was mad chaos but sort of fun, too. We look like drowned rats in our photos. Ahhhh! The memories. Scott Kelly was the Commencement Speaker. He was amazing! 

Glad to hear you got that commencement behind you.

I only got .4" here in BBV which was okay but need some more. I guess we may get more this next week, which is just fine. I need some rest before I finish up my project outside. 

You're getting more rain now, I'm sure! i have webbed toes and getting quite used to being wet.

I got the lawn mowed and some hedging done before the first downpour. Now showered and safely inside for this big one!
