Went to the movie and saw Jason Bourne. Loved it! It was a high energy movie from start to finish with an awesome car chase scene. Whew! Don't watch it if you are expecting a relaxing movie.
The theater was almost full. We waited until nearly the very end to exit the theater. I couldn't believe then number of empty cups, popcorn bags and hot dog wrappers just left in the holders and on the floor. Is it that hard to take the trash you created out the door with you?
ShowBiz has been here for quite awhile. They have made improvements to the theater (adding SDX) and arranging the movie schedule according to the demographics of each season. They seem to know what Kingwood wants. Sad that Kingwood (I assume??) trashes it up.
I always thought the same. People are selfish. They dont like to be treated in a disrespeful way or be expected to clean up after others, but in a theatre we see most people have no problem doing these things to others. I also think the this whenever coming from an international flight. Bunch of slobs and pigs with no regard for others property.
We moved here almost 20 years ago from OKC. I can remember taking my teenager to the mall to shop for clothes. There was food and drinks left in the dressing rooms. Clothes were just tried on and left on hooks or the floors. I was shocked. I had never been in a store where people didn't put things back on the hangers.
Almost nothing pi$$es me off more than to pull into a parking lot and have to step around a bunch of dirty diapers! I can almost tolerate people not returning their shopping carts ... almost ... but at least properly disposes of those nasty diapers!
Saturn, my husband is handicap and we see the handicap issue with parking all the time in Kingwood. Selfish people! My husband often purposely parks in a non-handicap spot so that those who absolutely can't walk or elderly can use it. And just to prove a point, of course.
Unfortunately, it does not stop there. While he can walk the distance to the store, once inside he must use an electric cart to do his shopping. But too many fat people, kids, or lazy people use them. Often he has to sit in the car while I shop, or wait until one is returned. The people are the store are always helpful and understanding. But they can't challenge the reason anyone using an electric cart.
When returning a cart, we always plug it in to make sure it has a full charge for the next person. My husband would give anything not to need that parking space and to walk freely again without assistance.
Thoughtless, inconsiderate, and selfish people are everywhere. Oh yes, and Litterbugs, too!
Or people who park in a designated handicapped parking spot without a handicap tag, or sticker hanging from the mirror.
I can't say that I see a lot of that in Kingwood, but I've seen enough of it.
Also, this isn't just in Kingwood, I see it everywhere.?
Also the backwards parkers. i can just see myself lying on my death bed with just minutes left to spend with my kids. I then realize, if it hadn't had been for backwards parkers, I would have had at least 17 more hours to spend with my kids in my lifetime. #forward parkers time matters!
