I walk my dog every day on the greenbelt. We see the same friends every day. So this is a little reminder to people my dog has not met before. If we are standing off to the side waiting for you to pass, that does not mean you should walk up to us and let your dog "meet" my dog. Also, if your unleashed dog is running at us, you yelling from 20 ft away "He just wants to play" doesn't reassure me! I'm just concerned about both our dog's safety. Thanks in advance.

EXACTLY!!! THANK YOU!!! People do not understand that a dog on a leash can/will react differently to an off leash dog whether the owner thinks it is friendly or not.

It would also be nice if your dog makes a deposit where people walk CLEAN IT UP, at least move it off the walkway so others do not have to have the chance to step in it....

Unleashed dogs are known to act aggressively, even out of character, when around leashed dogs.

Unleashed is against laws correct? Leash them or leave them at home!

Sounds like its being submissive. Not cool for a dog to do.

Here is some more tips for dog walkers:
1. Don't let you dog take a dump on the green belt. IF they do - pick it up

2. Don't let you dog take a dump on the edge of the green belt. IF they do pick it up or throw it deep in the woods.

4. If you must use those horrible retractable leashes, please reel your dog in when people approach.

5. Those with big dogs, please use a choke collar.

Thanks
