Simulated Emergency Drills at Kingwood High School This Week

Kingwood High School will be hosting the City of Humble Police Department on our campus this week. Police will be training officers through simulated emergency drills on Wednesday, July 12, and Thursday, July 13.

There will be emergency vehicles on campus and active scenarios with simulated gunfire and explosions. The drills will begin at 8 a.m. and continue through the early afternoon. This is for training purposes only. There is no real emergency.

Gotta use all that Homeland Security crap they got from Cheney before it rusts and seizes up. 

Just a "heads-up" for this exercise so no one gets excited about what is happening at KHS. Nothing more.

Active Shooter Role Players Needed on July 13th

Good afternoon, on Thursday July 13th we are having an Active Shooter class at the Kingwood High School located at 2701 Kingwood Dr., Kingwood, Tx. 77339, from 8am until 3pm. For the Students (officers), this is a very intense, physically and mentally demanding class. What I need from the Alumni are role players, very similar to our scenarios night, only on steroids. There is no need to be concerned about you limitations or ability to help. You can be anything from a dead body, to the first person contacted and giving details to the arriving officers, a hostage, a fleeing victim and if you're really up to it the "bad guys". Word of caution though, we use simunition weapons in this class and the bad guys do get shot. It?s kind of like a paint ball gun, once again, on steroids. I can use everyone and anyone that is interested in helping. It really adds to the realism to have a broad spectrum of actors or all ages, genders and nationalities. If you are free, come join us!!!! You'll have a blast and also get an inside peek how officers are trained to deal with this ever growing threat. Just think, the things you witness and are a part of could one day help you survive a real Active Shooter incident. Feel free to bring friends and family, as long as they understand the intensity and what they are getting themselves into. 

Do the "Active shooters" at least get free lunch out of it?
