It's inside the siding on the garage, between the walls where I can't see the nest. But I see the Paper Wasps come home to their nest each night on the outside. There are no wasps inside the garage. Every night there are more and more of them. I understand I can spray them with soap and water. But I don't think I can get to the nest? Any hints?? I am going to have repairs to the siding done soon. I don't want the guy to get stung. But he knows about the nest.

Get a piece of garden hose and stick it in where the wasps are going, at night when they're not active. Spray any wasp or hornet insecticide through the other end of the hose. May take a couple of times but it should work.

I think I feel better using insecticide over soap and water. They have a thin long stream. What if my water pressure decides to drop while I am spraying them with soap? I have some hose pieces.I can try that, too. Thanks 'Bean!

Butter's idea works. I travel a lot and when I haven't had much time those simple foggers (pest bombs) work well for me. Maybe open up the siding slightly and place one right by the opening and then another in the garage to annihilate them overnight!you should at least soak their nest and the survivors will move on.

Caution - foggers can cause damage and possibly a fire...jmho

I've never had a problem and they have been a cheap, effective solution to pesky insects of all kinds. But yea, don't pop one in vicinity to a flame, gas line, etc.
