is baby heart rate more then 140 girl, less then 140 boy? is that true?
My Dr told me too early we can't tell now what r u having. any old wavies prediction u have so please tell.

Any guess is 50/50. We did the Chinese calendar and it was right both times but I know people who it didn't work for.

You can predict it by knowing what position you were in during conception. Doggy=Boy and Missionary=Girl. So which one was it? 

They are all a myth including the position during conception. My favorite was the direction your pillow faces while you sleep or the color your urine turns when adding drano. Hilarious stuff that people come up with.

I am switching my Dr. do u know about Dr.Boyd how she is? my first visit will b 19 jan next week.

I have always done the ring on a string on your wrist (palm of the hand up) it will either go in a straight line or circle. It will go in birth order, it also picked up my miscarriage. Don't remember which the circle or line represents.

The Chinese calendar both predicted my boys. But again, I know ppl it didn't work for. Just enjoy the excitement of waiting. It will fly by.

It DOES work. I've actually refused to do it to people anymore because it freaks me out now. Predicted I would hve boy/girl twins 5 years before theyy were conceived. Picked up a woman's dozen miscarriages. 

At 16 weeks you can tell what you are having...I found out when my DD at 16 weeks b/c my friend is a US Tech and she took a peek. This time I had blood work done with my NT Scan in The Woodlands and found out at 12.5 weeks that its a boy. We later confirmed it at the 18 week scan.

But one way that hasn't failed our family yet is to take the age of the mom at conception plus the month (ex: age 32 + 8 (August) = 30) and if its even, its a boy...odd is girl.

Dr. Boyd is a great dr IMO, I see Dr Plummer in the same practice (I'm 21 weeks 2 days along) and we go tomorrow to find out what we're having, so excited! Dr Plummer was leaving out of town the day I went into labor with my ds and Dr Boyd ended up delivering him, I loved her for delivery and she's always seemed very nice in the office. 

yes she seem very nice lady.i went just for oppointment not for check up she gave me hug:)she told about my complication do not worry about anything ur result hopefully fine.this think touched my heart. 

I forgot to add, this is also how my best friend in high school found out she had an older brother from her dad's previous marriage.

I never used a ring, just a pencil, needle, and thread.

I wouldn't encourage it though as I think it may be a paranormal thing. No thank you. Don't need any freakiness in my life!

I would never do this pregnant. The last person I know who did miscarried her twins the next day, 

I have done both the ring and pencil method. And I never miscarried due to it. It is really very accurate!! Try it! 

I did the chinese cal and it was wrong with both. I am 32 wks now with my 2nd dd and both were suppose to be boys.

I see Dr. Boyd and she delivered my 1st and I loved her. The only thing I don't like is her nurse. There was a different one when I was pg with my 1st that I loved. We found out at 15w3d what this one is doing the peek a boo u/s.

ring on a string works. I have done it on 5 woman and they all were right. I had it done on me when I was pregnant and predications were right. circle girl, back and forth boy.

Looking at that Chinese predictor...it was always wrong with my kids. I was even wrong in my head. Well, I wanted a boy...but I was in denial my body said girl. :) I am almost 28 weeks pregnant.

BTW...I craved all sorts of things with this one. Maybe it's my age? I am rusty at this since my other three are 10, 8, and 7 years old. ;)
