Richard Land speaks for many of the religious right and boy this party needs a larger BIG TOP.

Step right up folks and see the incredible disappearing moderate vote and along with it any "prayer" of a win in November.

This is so funny!!!

Religion on religion crime. LOL

Souperman --- 2 years ago -

More fluff from the left.

You'll guys will do anything to not talk about Obama, the economy, high gas prices, housing collapse, etc.

Work in Progress --- 2 years ago -

Notice that he didn't link anything, or explain what the comparison WAS.

Which makes this whole post a bunch of nothing.

wayward1 --- 2 years ago -

Just for educational purposes

From NewsMax

Work in Progress --- 2 years ago -

I see nothing in the article which is false or troubling.

Take a religion class text, and maybe you could understand his point.

SagaciousSighFiGurl --- 2 years ago -

Bore-Fest.

Defcon1 --- 2 years ago -

More fluff from the left.

Left or right, all it is is garbage.

Ron Paul, y'all! Duhhh

SagaciousSighFiGurl --- 2 years ago -

lol.

.... and as usual. A cartoon is the best rebuttal the KU liberals can muster.

Work in Progress --- 2 years ago -

I'm assuming that they don't know the history of how all of these religions started, so they have no idea how they compare.

Work in Progress --- 2 years ago -

Psssttt...both Muhammed and Joseph Smith were visited by "angels" that taught them a different gospel.

They both claim that the Bible is corrupted, but their revelation corrects the mistakes.

Souperman --- 2 years ago -

They don't know much about anything pertaining to religion. Specifically Christianity.

IrvingShwartz --- 2 years ago -

Hmmm.. do some KU atheists think Baptist will vote for Hussein?

justinCASE --- 2 years ago -

I would really like to see Christians stop thinking of Christianity as a religion.

Work in Progress --- 2 years ago -

I would really like to see Christians stop thinking of Christianity as a religion.

It's a convenient term that the world uses, so when talking on a thread like this, it's just easier. But I see your point. Religion is about man's attempt to reach "god", whereas Christianity is God's success in reaching man.

Donkey Hodie --- 2 years ago -

.... and as usual. A cartoon is the best rebuttal the KU liberals can muster.

I wasn't sure you'd be able to understand anything more complex than a cartoon drawing. You've never demonstrated that ability in the past.

Anyway, you still miss the point.

Souperman --- 2 years ago -

I wasn't sure you'd be able to understand anything more complex than a cartoon drawing. You've never demonstrated that ability in the past.

Let's go with that. I couldn't have possibly been because you didn't have anything of substance to add to the conversation.

Anyway, you still miss the point.

I see it clearly. It's at the top of your head.

Do Mormons not believe in the trinity?

Souperman --- 2 years ago -

Do liberals believe in personal responsibility?

DearestTattooedDragon --- 2 years ago -

what I see is Republicans need to stop shooting themselves in the foot-when will they stop???

Donkey Hodie --- 2 years ago -

Do Mormons not believe in the trinity?

I don't know. I mean, it's only #1 in the LDS Articles of Faith. I'm pretty sure that's means they don't. [eyeroll.gif]

DearestTattooedDragon --- 2 years ago -

I hope the people in the convention will be thrilled to know they helped Obama win-

justinCASE --- 2 years ago -

Mormons don't believe in the Trinity

ZUULisBACK --- 2 years ago -

I hope they don't try to baptize me after I die. That is so weird.

Work in Progress --- 2 years ago -

Eyeroll, perhaps DH needs to learn what the Mormons actually believe in before he gets all snarky.

Yes, they believe in the three parts, but they do not believe that Jesus IS God, as he claimed to be. They believe that he is the LITERAL son of God, after God came down in person to have actual sex with Mary.

That ain't the trinity.

JohnLynch --- 2 years ago -

you have to remember that donkey went to the "seminary"...i mean "cemetery"...where faith goes to die

Donkey Hodie --- 2 years ago -

Eyeroll, perhaps DH needs to learn what the Mormons actually believe in before he gets all snarky.

I can say with absolute certainty that I know what mormons believe. I can say that I know one thousand times better than you, that I know what mormons believe.

Work in Progress --- 2 years ago -

Then you should have known that they don't believe in the trinity, at least, not in the way that Christians do.

Donkey Hodie --- 2 years ago -

Again, the best illustration of all these so-called "Christians" saying that mormons aren't also Christian is this:

0

Work in Progress --- 2 years ago -

They aren't Christians, no matter what cartoon you post. A Christian, must, by very definition, follow what Christ taught, and believe that Christ is who he said he is.

They don't. So, by the very definition of "Christian" being "Christ follower", they aren't.

Donkey Hodie --- 2 years ago -

They don't.

Yes, they do. By your definition, they are every bit as Christian as anyone else who claims to be a Christian.

Work in Progress --- 2 years ago -

No they are not. They do not believe that Christ is who he said he was, nor do the follow his teachings. They believe in a different Christ, a Christ who FAILED in his mission, quite frankly, hence the need for Joseph Smith.

That is not Christ as taught by the gospel. That's a different gospel, which the New Testament warns against, given in the same manner that the New Testament warns against.

Work in Progress --- 2 years ago -

Galatians 1:8

"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!"

Didn't the angel of Mormon give that message?

JohnLynch --- 2 years ago -

I can say that I know one thousand times better than you, that I know what mormons believe.

and i can say...you don't

Donkey Hodie --- 2 years ago -

They believe in a different Christ, a Christ who FAILED in his mission, quite frankly, hence the need for Joseph Smith.

lol. Mormons don't believe that. You have no idea what mormons really believe. You should look up what they believe, right after you look up what a "straw man" argument is.

Work in Progress --- 2 years ago -

They also believe in polytheism. That our God was a man on another planet, and that by following the god of his planet, he got to be the god of this one! And he and his wife have lots of sex, and make little spirit children, the first of which was Jesus, then Satan, then, I believe, all of us.

They also believe that we can become gods and goddesses of our own planets on day, and make our own spirit children.

They do not believe in salvation the same way that the Bible teaches.

They do not believe in the same God that the Bible teaches.

They believe that where the Bible and the Book of Mormon or Pearl of Great Price contradict, the Bible is wrong.

They don't believe in the same Christ as the Bible teaches.

So I answer emphatically, they are NOT Christians. I don't say this to be cruel, I'm just laying it out.

Work in Progress --- 2 years ago -

lol. Mormons don't believe that. You have no idea what mormons really believe. You should look up what they believe, right after you look up what a "straw man" argument is.

I have looked it up. They think that Christ failed to establish his kingdom in America, hence the need for Joseph Smith.

Donkey Hodie --- 2 years ago -

I see. You must have watched "The God Makers" and bought it hook, line and sinker. There might be a grain of truth in some of your claims, if you really distort the definitions of some of your words, and look at them through one of those carnival wavy mirrors. You must believe everything anyone ever tells you, right? I mean, if another "Christian" tells you something, it must be the absolute truth, right?

lol. This whole thread is hilarious.

Donkey Hodie --- 2 years ago -

Oh, that is so hilariously wrong! You should do stand-up comedy! lolling for reals.
