They did all kinds of damage replacing siding and inside including, but not limited to:

1. breaking a tile on my hearth and then throwing out the piece that broke off and not notifying me.

2. caused water penetration in at least four areas

3. cut alarm wires and then just sealed up the siding without repairing them. 

I called Oleg (owner) back numerous times. He never showed up.

Well, spill it. I'm considering having all the interior of my house re-painted and I sure don't want paint everywhere ... or half done and the painter disappears.

I second not using DJ painting....I had such a horrible experience with him before the painting even begun. 

I used Russ with Certapro painters in Humble. They painted the interior of our house and were fantastic. They cleaned up each day and made sure everything was perfect before I signed off on the job.

I also need some painting done, but first I need all the wallpaper ripped off in my BIG kitchen/breakfast room and the walls appropriately prepped. Can most painters do that, or do I need someone with wallpaper experience as well? Suggestions are welcomed.

Stephanie, removal of wall paper is a lobor intensive chore, but it is not complicated. You may be able to do it yourself - I can show you how. If you aren't able to remove the wallpaper, Your Kingwood Painter can do it for you. I have just had my master bathroom and powder room painted. They had to remove wallpaper first and it was difficult as the original builder did not prepare walls properly for wallpaper. Did not size (sp.) walls. He did a great job with a beautiful faux finish at a GREAT price. He did trim all over house as well. He's coming today so let me know if you want him to pop over for a quote. 

Removing wallpaper is MY speciality and I love doing it. But every wall that was wallpapered in this house was a nightmare due to original owner or builder not prepping walls properly. My husband is great with wallpapering and his walls were easy and fun to remove! 

ukchristine, who are you using? I would at least like to have his name and number. I have nightmare wallpaper as well - we did it ourselves in the master bath and had some issues. Too stressful!
