Got all the inside stuff taken down this morning - just need to haul it back up into the attic.
I may leave the outside stuff out for a couple more days. I just don't want to be out there in the cold and wind.

FabFive --- 12 years ago -

Today. Just need to get motivated.

Dorothy Parker --- 12 years ago -

I leave it up until New Year's Day then take it down the next day.

RedMulch --- 12 years ago -

Mine came down this morning. I had no outside stuff....Mine has been up since 11/18, so enough is enough.

And the final blow came when one of the stand legs broke and the tree fell into the corner and a couple of the ornaments broke.

Perfection --- 12 years ago -

Did it yesterday and put the house back in order.

Time to move on.

Same here. I don't like to rush and take everything down. I like to savor the season...

Gigix4 --- 12 years ago -

lol - as the saying goes: "It ain't over 'til it's over"!

Well, it's over! It would be different if I still had little ones around all the time.

Now getting ready to do the dreaded thing of starting to drag out and organize tax filing crap! (might need to make a run to the liquor store before I do that!)

LOL! Give yourself a break at least until January 2nd then you can worry about taxes! :)

ontheroad678 --- 12 years ago -

I normally take down on New Year's day.....looking at the weather forecast for New Year's and the rain that is coming, I will take down the outside this weekend......

Gigix4 --- 12 years ago -

Yeah ... watched the weather this morning and it sure sound like another storm coming sometime around Friday so I'll probably get the outside stuffdone tomorrow or Friday morning.

Froggie --- 12 years ago -

I'm taking a break, tree is down and put away, now working on the household decorations....no decorations outside except wreaths.

Then a good clean and then the house is back to order....YAY!!

Melanie --- 12 years ago -

After New Year's. Grandkids still like everything up plus I've been sick & don't feel like it.

Semper --- 12 years ago -

Usually my stuff stays up until Epiphany but my husband is leaving today because we just found out his brother may not live past this week. He is 46 years old and is dying from complications of end stage liver disease. I needed something to preoccupy me.

doglady --- 12 years ago -

Not until 2nd or 3rd...mine was late this year, so still enjoying it;)

doglady --- 12 years ago -

Semper, sorry about your bil. That sounds tough:(. Prayers for your family.

queenofclean --- 12 years ago -

marthas attic (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

We have a new years eve party so it stays up for that and I plan on hosting a post holiday party after that so it will be staying up until at least jan. 12th. We spend so much time putting it all up we love enjoying it.

Annie's Mom --- 12 years ago -

Usually have it down by Jan 6th. BUT we didn't put anything up inside this year so that makes that taking down so much easier. :)

SueRDH --- 12 years ago -

New Years day is when I usually take it all down.

GeorgiaPeach --- 12 years ago -

New Years it gets put away :-(.

Ms Purseonality --- 12 years ago -

We haven't had Christmas yet so it won't come down until we do. Christmas is scheduled for Friday night so will probably come down sometime this weekend.

On Pointe! I like that.

MoreToLife --- 12 years ago -

We finished with Christmas presents and dinner, mine was gone on Christmas day by 6 pm. I was having a heard time keeping my kitty out of it! I hung a bell on it so I could hear when she was playing. I love that cat to pieces, but she was driving me nuts with the tree!

Cristie --- 12 years ago -

As soon as I get home from work today. I can't handle it any longer!

MoreToLife --- 12 years ago -

AuthorMan --- 12 years ago -

jtcitrus --- 12 years ago -

TinktheSprite --- 12 years ago -
