Y'all may want to keep an eye out for a tall, sloppy-fat old man, probably in his 60s, with gray hair, driving a white Ford pick-up...in the Kingwood area (specifically near the Exxon Station at W Lake Houston & Kingwood Drive). He has been flashing a fake police badge at people, threatening to arrest them. He heard me drop an F-Bomb in the Exxon parking lot and told me he could take me to jail for using bad language in public. He then flashed a dollar store "police badge" at me for about 2 seconds. I literally laughed in his face and left.

In retrospect, I should have told him, "Fine...ya creepy bastard...call for back-up and cuff me NOW!"

I did call the Kingwood Police to let them know.

I'm 48 and not naive enough to fall for his crap, but a child might be.

Humanity is so disappointing.

Dorothy Parker --- 11 years ago -

Did you tell the Exxon employees he's loitering and threatening people in the parking lot?

I don't have a pick-up.

No. My first instinct was to get away from him. He gave off a very creepy vibe. Silly, I know. I probably could have kicked his ass.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 11 years ago -

you can still call them-

mutton --- 11 years ago -

Definitely Call!

Lord Cheezus DeSufferbus --- 11 years ago -

Wait Authorman is short.

No, Mike 'Bluto' Bierne isn't short, unless you're some sort of pituitary tumor giant. He is a bloated toad, though.

GeorgiaPeach --- 11 years ago -

Lynch on the loose, no doubt. Did he have Jacobson and Believer with him ?

Dorothy Parker --- 11 years ago -

Nah, John Jacob(son) Jingleheimer Schmidt would be preaching and flashing a bible....not a fake badge.

Punk!

I love this thread.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 11 years ago -

These are the same type people who party in the driveway, install yard art in the front yard, place lawn furniture in the driveway and have garages that face the street.

Perfect Sense --- 11 years ago -

Sounds just like JW72 except he is short.

Hey, That's my name too!

Emperor of Kingwood --- 11 years ago -

There's a Harris County cop that checks in at 300+ who is usually spotted exiting the Exxon with a big gulp and bag of chips that he probably got for free.

mutton --- 11 years ago -

OMG, me garage faces the street? Guess I need to go buy some lawn chairs, lol. (sorry Bob, just funning)...

Puss In Boots --- 11 years ago -

Ummm, don't 90% of garages face the street?

mutton --- 11 years ago -

I know I did not get to pick which way I wished mine to face, lol.

Mine doesn't, I guess that makes me special...

Dorothy Parker --- 11 years ago -

Where should a garage face?

Emperor of Kingwood --- 11 years ago -

A garage should not face the street, it should open to the driveway in the back of the house.

Dorothy Parker --- 11 years ago -

So a detached garage behind your home...

mutton --- 11 years ago -

Too bad they are not all built as such. Mine is detached and further to back of house but still faces the street so the comment to me is confusing...

Work in Progress --- 11 years ago -

lol, my hubs says the same thing. But most houses (including ours) have garages that face the street. He hates it.

I guess it saves on lot size and it makes the house look bigger to have it in front? I don't know, but I agree that houses with the garage in back look nicer.

And yes, we keep our patio furniture in the back. But I understand why people like to sit in the front. If you sit in the front, your neighbors will come talk to you, possibly about your yard art. It's an extrovert thing.

You aren't going to talk to anyone new in your backyard.

It is I WhyWhyWhy --- 11 years ago -

After you meet your neighbors they aren't new anymore either.

Dorothy Parker --- 11 years ago -

Socalizing with neighbors is a good thing!

Seeing people in their driveways with lawn chairs doesn't bother me at all. Why should it?

It is I WhyWhyWhy --- 11 years ago -

Depends DP I've had some really cray cray neighbors. Ya know like boyfriend showing up while the husbands home and the police are called kind of cray cray.

mutton --- 11 years ago -

The whole point for me is the direction the garage faces, how weird for it to make a difference to someone. Not all houses are built equally, lol...
