If your the parent who got your daughter that car, be aware she's probably on the verge of getting in a wreck due to her wreck less driving, speeding, and cutting people like me off on 494 loop.

She had a punk guy with her too who then gave me some heart symbols with his hand. Needless to say my symbol back WASNT close to that.

Just be aware. Your kid sucks at driving :)

Please excuse any typos ... Sent from iPhone :)

Oregonian --- 10 years ago -

Poor little Kingwood girl. With that new BMW watch for her to be delivering Pizza soon.

It's safe to assume that your hand signal was something relating to the driver's IQ?

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

HA! you tell'em, honey!!!!

Sath --- 10 years ago -

Can't wait till they hit one of those classic trucks you see driving around and total their bmw while the truck will just have a few scratches.

them --- 10 years ago -

These comments are bizarre. Y'all actually sound jealous because this kid has a nicer car than yours.

Sath --- 10 years ago -

Nope I enjoy my ford focus, but my neighbor has one of those old 70's chevy trucks and I've seen some total their front end by just tapping his truck.

So there was a fatal accident at 2:30am this morning involving a BMW...21 year old male driver. From the story on Click2Houston, he was traveling at a very high rate of speed (100 mph) and tried to exit on Northpark from 59...lost control and hit a tree. Remembered this thread... Would be very sad to find out that these cars were one in the same. Sorry to the family for their loss, but maybe parents should think about buying these cars that have so much power under the hood...and it also gives a false sense of security for thinking that just because the car has a high price tag that it is safer... Very sad all around.

JHMO --- 10 years ago -

It was a BMW motorcycle.

BlackSwan --- 10 years ago -

My be, but I just read the article on Click2Houston (again) and it says car... Bad reporting on their part if it was a motorcycle.

napoleon --- 10 years ago -

I saw a video of the scene - it looks like it was a car.

Leila --- 10 years ago -

I agree. It is a mangled mess, but too much metal to be a bike.

mutton --- 10 years ago -

Was sad to hear and not nice to bring this thread up. Why do that?

BlackSwan --- 10 years ago -

Mutton, you apparently didn't read why it was brought back up...I said that seeing the story reminded me of the thread and that it would be very sad to have found out that the it may have been the same car. I have since learned that it was a black car, not a white one...and yes, it was a car as originally posted. Someone on KW.com knew him and the car he was driving.

Gigix4 --- 10 years ago -

Someone on KW.com knew him and the car he was driving.

Why are they now reporting that it was a motorcycle ... not a car? It looked like a car to me though.
So confusing ...

captureit11 --- 10 years ago -

Not the same people. The person from THIS ORIGINAL thread was a FEMALE driver- looked to be a teenager.

UJelly27 --- 10 years ago -

I heard it was a black BMW.

zapper007 --- 10 years ago -

More nosey neighbors...

mutton --- 10 years ago -

Blackswan I believe you are correct. I misunderstood your intentions, sorry!

kingwood resident --- 10 years ago -

JHMO it was a BMW sedan. We saw it being towed on Northpark Dr. Perhaps there were two accidents, I don't know, but there were witnesses who saw the accident. The driver was going at a high rate of speed, lost control and hit a tree. There are BMW's that have a high performance engine these are only fatal weapons in the hands of teenagers. This is so sad, but I hope other parent's take note and think twice before buying that particular car.

kingwood resident --- 10 years ago -

It was a white BMW I saw it being towed.

kingwood resident --- 10 years ago -

Correction it was a black BMW and I just saw the video. Witnesses told me it was a white BMW, there must have been two accidents because we saw a wreced BMW being towed. So sad to hear he was a 21 yr. old, died too young.

A man my husband knows , and his wife...they are late 40's or so...we're out riding their motorcycle one night in Houston about 4 months ago or so. A 21 year old had been out drinking and was driving, it was his 21st birthday. After the crash, the man had a broken back and neck and multiple other breaks including both legs, ribs, and more. His wife's leg got caught under the bike and drug along the highway. In surgery they removed most of her foot. She also had other major injuries. Young people are not thinking while driving and it's not ok. Parents have got to step up. Show your kids these reports and explain the consequences. Our oldest is not of driving age but we still point out stories like this to give her time to digest it all. We don't want our kids ruining their lives before they even start.

Captureit11...in the original thread you stated there was a male passenger. I understood that the driver of that car was a female, but it didn't mean that the car belonged to her. Anyway, I certainly didn't mean to upset anyone by bringing this thread back up...it was simply something that I remembered reading and it would have been very sad to hear that the warning to the parents was out there, but tragedy struck anyway. Obviously it wasn't the same car or people, but maybe some how these things happening will bring light to the fact that young kids/adults don't need all that power under their foot. Too much temptation and along with the feeling of being invincible, it just isn't a good thing all around. Again, my prayers go out to this young mans family...it is always very sad when something happens like this that was 100% avoidable.
