Butterbean --- 10 years ago -

I think homosexuality is genetic.

Gonna be difficult to prove that this young fella had a choice. Maybe it's all just a lot of bull.
Low places

a889324uu --- 10 years ago -

Yes it's genetic, and many species engage in homosexuality.

It's only humans that find it odd.

Although...

Genetic studies and male homosexuality

Emperor of Kingwood --- 10 years ago -

Homosexuality is not genetic.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 10 years ago -

Homosexuality is not genetic.

Identity Crisis --- 10 years ago -

It's not genetic, but you are born with a preference. In the end it doesn't matter anyway, it's not on the entrance exam into Heaven.

Texan65 --- 10 years ago -

Homosexuality is not genetic

On what basis do you make this statement?

It's only humans that find it odd.

From a biological perspective, how else can it be seen?

Emperor of Kingwood --- 10 years ago -

On what basis do you make this statement?

Lack of scientific evidence to support a genetic link.

Texan65 --- 10 years ago -

There is statistical evidence that homosexuality is inherited.

Obviously, there is cultural evidence that it can be chosen as well - classic Greece for instance

a889324uu --- 10 years ago -

Homosexuality is not genetic.?

So you're an expert in g/o AND genetics.

My, my, my!!!

Lack of scientific evidence to support a genetic link.?

You clearly have ZERO knowledge of what science is.

Wicked --- 10 years ago -

Homosexuality is not genetic.

Oh, now the expert on gay people. Is there anything that you are not an expert on?

Emperor of Kingwood --- 10 years ago -

You clearly have ZERO knowledge of what science is.

Then present the scientific evidence.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 10 years ago -

Is there anything that you are not an expert on?

Do you have any expertise in anything?

Wicked --- 10 years ago -

I will present you with scientific evidence when you prove that God exists.

zapper007 --- 10 years ago -

Just because God wrote it in the Book - it is still genetic...

Get over it deny-er...

Texan65 --- 10 years ago -

Wicked et al,

Your criticism of the emperor is overstated. A genetic predisposition to homosexuality is counter intuitive. That said, statistical evidence points towards it being true. The most likely BIOLOGICAL explanation is that it is carried on the X chromosome and infers some advantage to heterosexual females. Otherwise it would have been eliminated through natural selection.

Butterbean --- 10 years ago -

I'll just ask the young bull.

Wicked --- 10 years ago -

Thank you Texan65.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 10 years ago -

I believe in God based on faith, not evidence.

mutton --- 10 years ago -

Who cares? It happens, has since time began...

mutton --- 10 years ago -

mutton --- 10 years ago -

Emperor of Kingwood --- 10 years ago -

Funny how guys like girl on girl but not opposite?

Thats just the natural way of things.

mutton --- 10 years ago -

LMAO, expected that kind of response!

mutton --- 10 years ago -

Still likes you Bob!!!

Emperor of Kingwood --- 10 years ago -

Aw thanks mutton.....you are the greatest.

kella --- 10 years ago -

I believe people are born with a predisposition to being gay. But I also believe that our environment has A LOT to do with it. No one ever really talks about the side effects of hormone-induced foods & the byproduct of pesticides, GMOs & other contaminants. A lot in our food chain & environment can have effects on our hormones. But there's too much money involved for that to ever be taken into consideration.

What are the effects of soy? What does to much soy release?

rainbow --- 10 years ago -

What are the effects of soy? What does to much soy release?

mutton --- 10 years ago -

Is the tofu!!!

Wicked --- 10 years ago -

Soy is hard on the thyroid gland. But, I do love me some good tofu, marinated in a ginger sauce and grilled.

AMDG --- 10 years ago -

I will present you with scientific evidence when you prove that God exists.

I did that a few weeks ago - didn't get too many folks who wanted to play/dispute. I took that for acceptance - guess it was just denial.
