Im sure the speaker was way too wasted to know what was going on. Look at em..He's buzzed up drunk.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

The pubs have worked all their lives to feed their own families-

SoupIsGoodFood --- 10 years ago -

Yawn. Ignorant meme's for ignorant folks.

jacobson --- 10 years ago -

Actually pubs want PEOPLE to feed their own families, not the government like the dems want.

voice of reason --- 10 years ago -

dumb, worthless responses.

everyone would like to feed their own families. how about we pay wages so that's possible? that keeps them off the government tit. sorry it went over your collective heads.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 10 years ago -

dumb, worthless responses.

..... for a dumb, worthless post.

voice of reason --- 10 years ago -

i set soup on ignore eons ago but i still see he has posted after me on every. single. topic. no wonder his nose is brown and his breath smells like poopoo. bahaha

That can't be true. Pubs don't want to raise the min wage. By attempting to repeal the ACA, Pubs are ok with people living one medical disaster away from life long poverty. By way of pushing for the Keystone XL the pubs are ok with an ecology that is too toxic for human consumption.

voice of reason --- 10 years ago -

s.s.d.d. no pun intended!!! bahahahahahahahahaaaa

this is why i know more pubies on the government titties than all other political parties combined. (queue the pub poster who will say, 'we are for the hand up not the hand out.')

Its like the proverbial booger one can't flick..lol.

Prove it.

Work in Progress --- 10 years ago -

Conceivably, if we were to raise the minimum wage to a level where families could support themselves, the people needing government welfare would lessen. So instead of of using tax payer money from individuals, the burden of supporting the lower income families would be on corporations.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 10 years ago -

Its like the proverbial booger one can't flick..lol.

Yeah. Nose picker is exactly what I took you for.

Only because you're afraid of me.

Perfection --- 10 years ago -

Gotta love the willingness to work together this President brings.

"If you don't pass what I want, I will veto it"

"I took an oath to do what I want"

- excuse me, your oath was to protect the United States and the Constitution.

Voting record.

Bad choice of words WIP but good analogy. They are on the lobbyist / special interest tit. The revolving door of special interest and gov moves more people through gov via the republican party than any other party. Wash them hands soup e boy.

Not KU --- 10 years ago -

Yeah. Nose picker is exactly what I took you for.

and your at the end of that finger. lol

Work in Progress --- 10 years ago -

What words were a bad choice?

SoupIsGoodFood --- 10 years ago -

Voting record.

That's not proof.

Try again.

The GOP is the gov tit. One of them anyway. Its the lobbyist that are on the tit. The GOP is on the lobbyist tit. Sort of like a $ 69..lol.

Good analogy just the same.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 10 years ago -

You live in a strange world, Mark.

No your not. Your at the end of that finger. Wipe it off on a tissue.

Makes no sense.

A proper analogy doesn't consist of sophomoric, partisan rhetoric or cyclic idiocy. And they usually make sense and have an actual point to make.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

Why is it so hard to understand? Most pubs started out the same as everyone else- no silver spoon in their mouths- they worked a little harder, any many times put everything on the line to start up a business- some worked their butts off and did well- others put themselves thru school to obtain a degree to do well working for others- they saved their money, and invested it, in order for their kids to have a better life-then here comes the government, who decides they've done too well, they should give it to others who haven't worked or taken chances to have a better life- does that seem fair to you?

SoupIsGoodFood --- 10 years ago -

And they usually make sense and have an actual point to make.

LOL......... I don't understand half the stuff he posts any longer. I just makes little to no sense.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

I have to say I don't understand your point, Mark- it makes no sense...

Work in Progress --- 10 years ago -

It seems fair Tat, when you realize that not everyone had the same starting off point. You had the privilege of starting in a white, middle class family, so you had the values, connections, teachings, and tools that allowed you succeed. But if you had been born in the inner city, you wouldn't have any of that.

But a higher minimum wage would allow a chance for those without as many skills to have access to the schools/organizations etc. that could teach those skills, assuring upward mobility for us all.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

That' s a wonderful, idealistic thought, honey- it just doesn't work that way, except in Utopia-

Work in Progress --- 10 years ago -

But just as a thought experiment, hear me out. A single mother, living on minimum wage, working McDonalds, is forced to live in poor neighborhoods with high crime/low expectations, etc. If the minimum wage were raised to something more realistic for a family (something approx. $50k/year if working 40 hours a week), then she could afford to move her family into a better Neigjborhood with better schools, less crime, higher expectations, and so on. Her kids would be equipped to work in jobs higher than minimum wage as a result.

his nose is always to either mr mark's butt or my own. it's buried deep. kind of like the dog who has to roll in crap. he can't help himself.

Not KU --- 10 years ago -

Then someone call the grammar police. btw detective..I didn't call it a proper analogy. I called it a good one.

Prolix Raconteur --- 10 years ago -

It wasn't that either.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

I have a better idea- she could have gone to a community college (contrary to what O thinks) isn't expensive, so that she could get a better job- why should employers have to pay her more for not being more educated? She could also, if she has any ambition, work her way up to manager- these are things we did-

jacobson --- 10 years ago -

But if you had been born in the inner city, you wouldn't have any of that.

Dr. Ben Carson was born in the inner city and he succeeded.

But just as a thought experiment

Your thought experiment is flawed because to accomplish your scenario, prices on everything would dramatically rise and the $50k/year would become the poverty level.

a889324uu --- 10 years ago -

Did you seriously just say that those born in the inner city don't have values, teachings, tools or connections?

You couldn't be any more clueless if you tried.
