Another challenge for my KU'er friends.....

Need to find a driver's side sliding power door motor for a 2003 Sienna Mini Van.

Any junkyards that might have it?

Otherwise if I buy directly from Toyota brand new for $600 dollars! Yikes!

Check out this Sienna chat room. It might be a place to start.

You live in the 4th largest city in the U.S. complete with a port. Get off KU and go find a junk yard. geez. Did you try Ebay?

Just FYI, if you are talking about the window motor and have never changed one, it can be pretty challenging. The scissor mechanism is a pain in the gluteal folds. Also when you take out the motor, the scissors will relax and the window will slam down possibly breaking if you aren't prepared. I changed one once and maybe it was my car (Nissan) but the project didn't turn out as planned. I spent a lot more money than I should have by the end of the day.
You will also need a special tool to remove the plastic inserts that hold the interior to the frame. It's a cheap tool and looks like the claw side of a hammer but smaller. It is needed so that you don't tear them up when you remove them.

There is a section of N. Shepherd Drive, around the intersection of W.Rittenhouse Rd. heading south where there are blocks and bl-ocks of auto parts and salvage yards.
