Can you recommend a nice place to get eyelash extensions in the Kingwood or humble area that you've tried and doesn't burn the eyes?

Have you tried Latisse? That stuff in amazing! My lashes look fake they are so long, and healthy. The extensions are more expensive, require adjustments and are brutal on your natural lashes.

No, just the eyelash mascara younique I think that's what is called but wasn't too impressed, is this latisse similar?

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 6 years ago -

I think that is like a enhancer or supplement to make lashes healthier, but I don't think it's Latisse. Latisse was prescription only til recently. It's 98.00 for a large bottle. It lasts almost a year. After the daily applications, you then go on maintenance and I put one drop in the top of the bottle and split it between both eyes. So I'm using less, less waste.

Some people have issues from what I hear, the skin may darken around the eye or other things. I've had no side effects and I love the stuff.

Ditto what SSFG said about extensions being brutal on your natural lashes (I learned the hard way). I've not tried Latisse but I frankly would do anything other than extensions. If you have a special occasion, so with false lashes.

I use my Latisse less than once a week, and my lashes look same as when I was using every day.

The only problem is sunglasses.

Contact Jody...she is my neighbor and does a WONDERFUL job on eyelashes as well as facial treatments.

Don't do it! I was asked to model them but refused to get them on and ruin my natural lashes. They actually glue onto your natural lashes! They'll probably all fall out. Don't do it.

It depends on the type you get and how you care for them...most folks don't listen to the technician putting them on when they tell you not to rub your eyes constantly for the first few days...then they all fall out and they are dissatisfied... you have to follow the after care instructions.

It can turn your iris brown or darken it alot, be careful!
