Coming north on Atascocita Road where it dead ends into 1960 @ HEB....there have always been several "No Right on Red" signs there. Talking 10 years or more. Now the signs are gone. But no one turns on the red; guess they haven't noticed the signs are gone. That will change, though. That whole messy intersection is a recipe for disaster. Let's watch it get worse.
Yikes, why would they do that? I wonder if vandals/kids/idiots took them down??
Sorry. I took them to put in my mancave.
Sigh - they've been down for over a month. Seems like they'd be replaced by now.Right? LOL.(Fuzz, I'm sure they look quite lovely in your mancave. Just make sure the ladies don't misinterpret them.)
Fuzz, If they say, "NO RIGHT TURN" in your house, they've found the proper home. LOL
I've wondered about this too. I think out of habit, thinking that when they replaced all of the lights, they forgot to put the sign back on? Does anyone have a definitive answer?
Maybe Harris County, but I wouldn't hold my breath.LOL.
People do the same thing with the green arrow + red light @ NP and Kingwood Drive. Some people don't know you can go then.
It's annoying when suburbanites go downtown and don't know you can turn left on a red light from a one way onto a one way
Then if you honk at them, they get out of their vehicle and enter a fit of rage yelling racist comments, screaming about how liberals are awful. When calmly trying to explain that they can simply turn left on the red, they get even more irate, turn red in the face and threaten to punch you in the face for being right.
