Bono says migrants ruining Europe and will ruin America. Will Libs burn or delete their Joshua Tree album?

"Bono, the lead vocalist of the legendary rock band U2, has long been known as one of the few big-time celebrities conservatives can often agree with. From his praise of capitalism as a means of lifting the world?s poor out of poverty, to lauding former President George W. Bush for his significant contributions to halting the spread of the AIDS epidemic in Africa, Bono often defies the stereotype of liberal pop artists.

The music icon?s latest message is about the refugee crisis currently wreaking havoc on Europe, and it?s not one liberals are going to like, either.

Reacting to what he has experienced first-hand, Bono says the millions of migrants flowing into the continent are a threat to European civilization ? and could be America?s problem soon.

President Obama has long said he wants to open America?s arms to tens-of-thousands of refugees fleeing terrorism and civil wars in the Middle East, and Obama has frequently criticized Republicans for balking at the prospect of a huge influx of asylum-seekers.

Appearing Tuesday on MSNBC?s ?Morning Joe,? Bono discussed his recent experiences visiting countries where the migrants originate, including Somalia and Syria. He offered up a stark warning to Americans, saying that the extent of the refugee crisis is not adequately covered in U.S. media.

Bono minced no words, telling host Joe Scarborough that not only will the refugee crisis be a major problem for whoever wins the American presidency, it ?threatens the very existence of Europe.?

The 55-year-old Irish singer-songwriter added, ?I wish I had better news to report and I think it?s something to get ahead of. I know there?s election fever and I can see why people are getting carried away. But the next president might spend his first term not just putting out fires, but forest fires, if you don?t get on top of this.?

According to The Hill, the U2 frontman will testify before Congress at a Senate Appropriations Subcommittee hearing on violent extremism and the role of foreign assistance in helping to address the expanding problem. No stranger to political activism, Bono has appeared before U.S. lawmakers in the past to advocate on behalf of his anti-poverty organization, the ONE campaign.

Bono also penned an op-ed for the New York Times on Tuesday. Under the headline, ?Time to Think Bigger About the Refugee Crisis,? he offered solutions to the ever-growing issue, which he believes is better addressed in the migrants? homelands ? before they are forced to uproot their lives ? instead of after the fact in countries where they are ill-prepared to assimilate and succeed.

That?s a message most conservatives can agree with"

Perhaps people will take notice now. Europe is changing. And it's not for the better.

So right about lack of media coverage in the US.
