They've torn down that old gas station on Kingwood Drive. Are they replacing it with the same business, or (please!) might something new be coming to Kingwood? 

I just saw that today!! Who is going to put air in my tires now??? I hope somebody knows what is going on.

LOL.... i figured it was going when they took out the pumps and gas storage tanks. The car repair there was pretty good but maybe they could not make a go of it anymore.

Something new, you mean other than a gas station/convenience store? I doubt that much else would build on a corner like that...

I believe that is the oldest gas station in Kingwood. Excluding the two on Hamblen and the one on 494. Probably just putting in a new one. Who actually goes there for gas? It's like 20 to 30 cents a gallon more than the others.

Was.... just a small pile of rubble now...I think it was about the only station left with full service and repair. Shell on NP @ WLH has a repair but it is separate from the station.

That's Kingwood Service Center. Family has been taking our vehicles there since the early 90's. Honest people.
