After much work from us and much anticipation from our beloved Kingwood community, the 2017 Heise Christmas Light show is a go!
Tell your friends and family, then load up the kids and come to 2211 Vista Manor Dr. in North Woodland Hills, 3 blocks north of Woodland Hills Elementary. Be sure to roll down your windows or get out of the car to "hear the lights" (or set your radio to FM 89.9).
The show will run on a loop from 6:00PM to 9:30PM every night from tonight, December 2nd until January.
If you would like to take pictures of the kids with the decorations, you are absolutely welcome to, BUT PLEASE try to do it when one of us is outside to guide you there safely! There is a mile and a half of high-voltage lines and dozens of guy wires crisscrossing the yard. We don't want anyone to get hurt!
Thank you so much! I was going to come back and bump it every few days, and was surprised to find a generous mod doing it for me.
Remember, we have moved. We're not at the corner of Oak Shores and Hidden Pines any more. Now we're around the corner on Vista Manor. We had to sell our castle earlier this year in favor of a single-story to facilitate DW and I caring for my in-laws in their last days.
Just a quick bump/reminder here. The show will stay live all night tonight until just before dawn Christmas morning. The speakers will only be on until about 11:00 or 12:00, but you will be able to hear it on the radio at 89.9FM as long as it is running.
Thank you to all who came to enjoy the show and for the kind comments since I unlocked the thread. We are very proud of how the show turned out this year and especially happy about the great turnout, despite us being at the end of a forgotten culdesac instead of a busy intersection.
TONIGHT, 1 JANUARY, IS THE LAST NIGHT! THE SHOW ENDS AFTER TONIGHT'S SHOWING, SO SWING BY IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT OR WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT ONE LAST TIME!
Thanks again to all of our wonderful Kingwood neighbors and all of the people who drove long distances to see it. The response was truly humbling and we are grateful.
