I am almost 17weeks pregnant.went to see the dentist today,they took my 4 xray.two weeks ago they took 3 xrays i asked them is this safe in pregnancy? in two weeks total 7 x ray is the safe for baby.Myfriend told me could b harmful for baby.
please if u have any information about it tell me. 

Yes, it's safe...if you told them you were pregnant, they should have put the lead apron over you.

Even if they didn't, dental x-rays are such tiny exposure, you'd be fine.

I had an abdominal x-ray while 7 months pregnant. You could see my baby boy's little skeleton. It was the cutest thing. He turned out perfect.

Is you friend an MD? If not, she isn't the one to be getting medical advise from. and probably no one on here. Id call your lady DR and ask. Just saying..... 

I had dental x-rays when I was pregnant. They used a chest blanket to protect the baby and everything was fine.

Sadly, at the time the situation was really scary and I didn't think to ask for a copy :(. I regret it now. 

I was too scared to do dental x rays while I was pregnant but the dentist and doctor said it was alright. But there is documentation and studies regarding xrays and infants showing that it can cause them damage. Talk about your concerns to your dentist and obgyn. You can call your obgyn with questions like that without needing an appointment.
