PSY has been taking over America with his surprise smash hit “Gangnam Style” but there’s new information on the South Korean pop star.

It turns out PSY has been involved in several anti-American protest performances. PSY cursed Americans after a South Korean missionary was executed. His song “Dear American” sets the record straight.

“Kill those f***ing Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives/Kill those f***ing Yankees who ordered them to torture/Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers/Kill them all slowly and painfully,” he raps.

PSY is slated to perform for President Obama for a Christmas In Washington special to air on TNT Friday, December 21.

Wow, killing Americans is so Christmas-y and American-ish.

MavMan --- 12 years ago -

We do not care what celebrities do. He did these protests back in 2004 and earlier. We do not care. Ice-T advocated and glorified the killing of police officers. He is now on a hit NBC television show. Rappers sing about beating women and some actually go through with it. Nothing happens, they still sell albums. No one cares.

You got a mouse in your pocket???

Cause me and my cricket most certainly do care....

mary of magdala --- 12 years ago -

who cares about someone's opinion.

Mayberry --- 12 years ago -

Dang! That's one of the few songs I enjoy listening to when working out! Guess I'll have to boycott PSY now...along with MANY other celebrities...

MavMan --- 12 years ago -

Cause me and my cricket most certainly do care....
You are obviously not in the majority. If you were, then Ice-T would not have a career, Eminem and Chris Brown and others would be out of work, but they are not. America does not care. All you seem to do is focus on the negative. It might do your heart and your faith some good to have positive thoughts every now and then. Give a smile to someone. God does not want us to have that kind of burning negativity in our hearts.
You will be in my prayers. Have a blessed day.

Ya ok.... Oh.. while I am at it I should probally go and bury my head in the sand as well......

GeorgiaPeach --- 12 years ago -

Your name is befitting. Your negativity on life is cringe worthy.
So sad to be you. Maybe the Pines can help you.

OneEyedManRedux --- 12 years ago -

Your negativity on life is cringe worthy.

Are you kidding me???

Sad to be me??? Because I don't blow fake sunshine up my butt everyday?

Please. You don't even know me and you are making such harsh judgements.

Work in Progress --- 12 years ago -

We do not care.

You say that as if apathy is something to be proud of.

It's not.

Work in Progress --- 12 years ago -

“Kill those f***ing Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives/Kill those f***ing Yankees who ordered them to torture/Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers/Kill them all slowly and painfully,” he raps.

And it's really telling of our society that this is what the rapper said, yet people on here get onto Sorry Excuse for being "negative".

You can't make this stuff up. It would be funny, except that it's so sad.

MavMan --- 12 years ago -

You say that as if apathy is something to be proud of.
It is amazing that you are able to tell tone from reading the written word. What I stated is fact. I was stating it as fact.
What is telling is that celebrities get away with stuff like this ALL THE TIME. NO one cares. If people did care then something would be done about it.
What is also telling is that every topic SE starts is negative. Always complaining about this country and it's people. No thoughts or ideas on how to fix it, just complain and complain. Never any ways or sources people can look to to make it better. SE only complains? Why is that? because negativity garners attention, it always has, as some people crave that attention all the time and they will do whatever it takes to get it. It's sad and I am praying for SE.

Work in Progress --- 12 years ago -

So. . .you are diagnosing SE based on his posts, but it's "amazing" that I can interpret tone from yours? Okay. . .

It's a messageboard. People post about current events here. SE is posting about things that some people here DO care about.

Just because you are apathetic to people wanting to "kill yankees" does not mean that other people are. And although I'm sure that SE would appreciate prayers for his well-being, saying that you will pray for him to be more apathetic is probably not scriptural.

GeorgiaPeach --- 12 years ago -

I have no idea what you are dementally raving about Work, but by all means, please proceed.

Hiowever, I'm going to be checking in now for work.

Work in Progress --- 12 years ago -

Well, I can't say that it surprises me Georgia that you don't understand it, but enjoy your evening at work.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

Well, I'm not defending what he said. But just b/c he doesn't like the military action that the US took, doesn't mean he's totally anti-American.

Think it being akin to us hating all Muslim people b/c of actions that a group took...

That being said, the song was in bad taste and performing for the President might not happen after that. Protocall gets sketchy....but I remember some musicians being called commies and traders who went to the White House to visit. lol

AFWife --- 12 years ago -

He's issued an apology but I'm sure it's all PR...

SleightOfHand --- 12 years ago -

The US could always bail on the DMZ and allow North Korea's huge army invade. Bye bye Samsung, Hyundai, Kia, LG etc

Apparently Obama doesn't care because he invited him to the White House. And if you've forgotten, President Obama took an oath to protect and defend the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic. Killing Yankees sure sounds like an enemy.

Ezekiel 23 20 --- 12 years ago -

Bump. Don't want witchypoop to miss this...

Nothing about this Presidency/Administration makes sense any more.

idontplaynice --- 12 years ago -

$%&@ PSY.

Never did understand the popularity of Gangnam-style.

Pat Barry --- 12 years ago -

PSY has more courage than most Americans to tell the truth about the Bushleague.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

I just saw a story on TV....seems PSY is kind of a douche, lol.

He has the right to his opinion but he has had great success here with lots of American dollars, it would be nice if he was a little more appreciative of our green backs lining his pockets. ugh.

Probably your typical entertainer mentality. There are more than a few that aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

Golly. For the record who do you respect more, Saddam Hussein or GW Bush?

Pat Barry --- 12 years ago -

Halliburton and Carlisle Group made a lot of money off of the lives of my friends and innocent Iraqis. Does that answer your question non-philosopher?

Ezekiel 23 20 --- 12 years ago -

Yep, that's what I thought. To bad you live a life filled with so much hate. Just stop hating America, okay? There's no better place on earth.

...and the implosion begins in 3... 2... 1...

idontplaynice --- 12 years ago -

I for one, would not mind PSY losing his $$$$ since this came to light.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 12 years ago -

he's the definition of "pragmatic in a bad way"-kinda funny..whatever the crowd wants, he's eager to please! Seems to be working for him!

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 12 years ago -

I guess he knew he was about to outed,'cuz he made a formal apology-

Puss In Boots --- 12 years ago -

Oh what people will do for the mighty dollar.

Hate the song....change the channel each time it comes on.

A stupid one-hit wonder that we will all be shaking our heads at one day.

Defcon1 --- 12 years ago -

I'm no yankee so whatever! LOL
