Ours is back on. It was fairly windy when it went out so maybe that was the cause. 

fosters mill on. anyone else hear a strange noise when the power went out? like a low pitched BLOING sound? power came on and off 4 times earlier today, finally losing power for nearly an hour after the 4th time. each time there was a noise id never heard before. heard it again about an hour to an hour and a half ago. whatever it was it wasnt the wind. any idea as to what ive been hearing? 

We have power in Bear Branch, but it must have gone out during the night. Things are flashing. But I'm without satellite.

Besides the wind, my husband and I heard a very loud and strange growling sound outside. 

like an airplane crossed with thunder kind of? 

Freekin' satellite is probably in outer space..... 

..... along with all our "dishes!!!" 

Like a huge beast growl. Not any animal growl we've heard before. 

I need to leave the house soon - anyone know of any traffic lights without power?

Been without power in sherwood trails accross from kpark aleast an hour now. Can't sleep because it's to damn quiet. Any ideas why it's out? It doesn't appear to be the least bit of bad weather outside. And haven't heard any growls lol 

Power is on in the HEB center. That usually means the intersection lights are working but not always...... 

That's good to know freebyrd. I don't like that intersection with the lights out and the high schoolers are getting ready to hit the streets! 

I'm out in kings river 

Ours finally came back on at almost 5 in south woodland hills! They went out at 230. 

Back in kings river! 

Back in Elm Grove. 60mph winds were reported this morning with the front. Still gusting to 30. 

NWH went out at 2am and still out. :( 

South Woodland Hills - no power since 2AM, No TV - don't know since when at least 5:30AM. 

All good here in MB....for now 

Mine went off and on a few times late last nigh, or early this morning. UGH. All the beeping and crap is enough to drive me crazy...the security system has to be reset after each power failure. It's the wind tho, it's really windy. There are limbs down all over the yard too. I knew that was going to happen.

Be CAREFUL around trees today!
