SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 11 years ago -

You sound HAPPY???? lol

kwoodmom2 --- 11 years ago -

Lucky! We still have another year on our contract
:(

B12Fan --- 11 years ago -

I've been with them for over 10 years and I want out of Sprint so bad.

I'm shocked at how much they've let their cell signal go down hill in this area.

This Guy --- 11 years ago -

Nice! We have 3 phones. 1 out of contract and 2 still in it. We are totally switching as soon as this is up.

Peeking Boo --- 11 years ago -

Us too. We have that AirRave thingy but it doesn't help much. My husband still doesn't get service at work at 1960 & Wilson. It's ridiculous.

5 more months....

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 11 years ago -

Who did you go with to replace them?

Cookie Crumbs --- 11 years ago -

I was with Sprint for 11 years and got fed up, I went with Verizon and I'm very happy!

Jelly Girl --- 11 years ago -

Verizon and I'm very happy!

Im thinking of doing the same... Darn SPRINT!

Donkey Hodie --- 11 years ago -

I've been with Sprint for 15 years, and I've rarely had problems. And since I have the everything plan, with digital roaming, I get to use the Verizon network but only have to pay Sprint prices.

tinman --- 11 years ago -

We switched off of Sprint yesterday. We were with them for 10+ years. Got a smoking deal with Verizon.

Better service and reception and half the price.

Do tell more about this "digital roaming" please! My reception is so bad that most of the time I never even know people call and my voicemails fill up but my phone had not rang once!

mustang06 --- 11 years ago -

Donkey Hodie, I'm interested in the digital roaming as well. please tell

What kind of data usage do you get? Is it like AT&T where it gets slower as you use more?

We've just been considering Cricket or maybe even going back to T-Mobile which I really don't want to do.

Yes please!

I do not know if Verizon throttles like AT&T, but if they do, it'll still be better than not being able to use the darn phone at all like Sprint has gotten.

We have a family plan with five phones, unlimited text and talk, 8 gig of data per month and it's well under 300 per month. We also all got new phones.

Galaxy SIII's and Iphone 4.

Peeking Boo --- 11 years ago -

Throttle, that's the word ;) I had a brain fart for a bit.

Your right about that though, it's better than nothing which is what I get from Sprint.

Thanks for the info :)

Same here! I have people tell me all the time that they have been calling me and calling me, and no answer. Yet, my phone hasn't rang once! If you dont leave me a voicemail, I don't know that you called. Very seldom do I have "missed" calls.

We have unlimited data which is awesome, right? Nope. Basically, if my iPhone isn't connected to wi-fi then it will not give me data services. Why have unlimited data?

I've griped, moaned and complained to Sprint so much that I'm surprised they haven't cancelled our contract. They don't seem to care. I am now getting the response: "we are upgrading the towers in your area. Sorry for the inconvenience."

Years ago, it was "oh, it's your phones. When you upgrade and pay $10 more a month you won't have this problem". Seriously. Gotta have a home phone because if there was an emergency none of our cell phones would work!

Most people don't have home phone because they have a cell, and no need to pay for both. But with data usage everyone's cell bill keeps going up and up. Some people pay $75 a month per phone.

If your plan supports digital roaming, just turn it on in your phone settings. If your plan doesn't support it, it will co$t extra. Much more extra.

My plan does. But if I am not connected to wi-fi 90% of the time it will not connect to the internet. Or, if it does it crawls so slow that I give up.

Kearney --- 11 years ago -

We've had all the major carriers but we went back to Verizon. I was with Sprint 10 years ago and didn't care for them.

Snake Plissken --- 11 years ago -

I read this on of my daily blog reads. It's a SIM card for you iPhone (any phone really) that's $45 a month.

Sprint phones do not have SIM cards. They are locked, and you can't use straight talk according to your link. :( But I read over it very quickly so maybe I misunderstood...

we currently pay $50 a month for our Srint phones, unlimited text and data (per line). Which is the ONLY reason we've stuck with them.

Ah. Yeah, same here.

I've debated it and yes, I pay waaaaay too much for 2 phones with Sprint. Over it.

TinktheSprite --- 11 years ago -

We've stuck with Sprint. There are only a few areas near us where we get bad signal but then, even our satellite radio won't work there either. Most of the time our service is excellent. We had troubles while every one was having troubles when the cell towers were being worked on. Even then, I switched from Mobile Data over to local WiFi and the phones worked fine. The IPhones in our family can't do that I don't think because Dh has dropped calls issues where I don't with my Android. I like the everything unlimited plan. It is worry free because we have been charged up the ying yang for overages before. That is where you get screwed.
