Costco definitely, HEB likely, townhouses/small apt complex definitely. Development is all the way around the turn heading to Wal-Mart. In conjunction with widening Townsend all the way from 59 to FM1960. I've seen the development plans.

A Costco will be going in off of Beltway 8 near West Lake Houston Parkway. The bidding for the land clearing has already occurred. 

I would love a Dairy Queen, too! they're soft serve is the best!

Costco in Humble? Well, no 'ish -- I think, I might, maybe, could have possibly heard.

I asked the VP of Real Estate Development at Costco if they had plans to open a Costco in Humble, This was the response.

"Unfortunately, our policy is that we only provide detail on projects that are in the construction stage. Since there is no project under construction at Humble, we really cannot comment." 

Build it and they will come.
