Does your dog(s) sleep with you or do/es they have their own sleep place? 

A most emphatic NO, except for one occasion. 

Our sons pup has a small bed we put on ours. 

The little one does; the Doberman has his own bed in the corner of our room. The JRT sleeps under my middle son's bed. 

mine used to, but after having to keep them out of my room all together, due to surgeries, they aren't allowed in my room any more- and they're crated at night- 

Ours sleep in their crate...but they put themselves to bed and the doors are open. They are true "den" dogs. 

mine love their crates, too! 

I sleep with the cat. 

Our 45 lb. cattle dog sleeps between us. He goes to bed at 10 pm every night by himself. When I go to bed later on I have to convince him to vacate my spot and move to the middle. He protects us from evil in the night and I can't sleep without him there.

Our best dog was an ACD but he refused to sleep anywhere but with one of the kids!!! Best dogs. 

I don't seem to have a choice. My dog sleeps with me. When I go to sleep, she jumps in and makes herself comfortable. 

I sleep with the cat.


My cats also sleep on the bottom corners. 

My little dog sleeps with me, but the big dogs have to sleep in their own beds. 

Our dogs started out in a large crate when we first adopted them. But they whined ALL night and often there was fighting that would wake us in the middle of the night. Then when I went out of town, DH would have them in bed with him. So I became the Big Meanie upon my return as it got harder and harder to get them into their crate. I admit, it sure is nice to snuggle next to a dog! We don't mind now. It is neutral territory and they don't fight. They still have a crate which they sleep in often in the day. I understand the one dog that is closest to me sleeps in the crate and not in our bed when I am out of town. Go figure. 

That is gross! I have what I believe to be the greatest dog on earth. But he is just that, a dog. No animals in the bed or on any other furniture in our house.

My little man sleeps with me, he's only 3lbs and doesn't take up much space. It's not gross, our dogs are bathed regularly and are very clean.

Those scoffing the issue are obviously NOT dog people.....sad for them.

Or they don't bathe their dogs. That was my first thought. A dog that is smelly and dirty is not his fault.
