Simple story: man breaks into apartment home at 9:30 Tue morning. Man is shot by resident inside who had a gun. Man dies. Resident is not charged.

And the gene pool is a little cleaner.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 9 years ago -

Here's the liberal spin on that story.

"North Houston - Evil conservative hater with unnecessary big scary gun in private hands (probably obtained illegally), callously shot and killed a misguided victim of white oppression and income inequality because of an unfair minimum wage for simply trying to gain entry into their residence to avoid the cold weather".

Spot on, Bob.

Mayberry --- 9 years ago -

Well done

Sorry folks, the story is inaccurate. The resident was likely also a Christian terrorist.

SleightOfHand --- 9 years ago -

Darn those Christian terrorists. He probably was in that position of superiority due to his white privileges

Emperor of Kingwood --- 9 years ago -

due to his white privileges

You know that's a fact, because he/she has oppressed many people and held them back.

SleightOfHand --- 9 years ago -

"You know that's a fact, because he/she has oppressed many people and held them back. "

The deceased was only trying to get what was denied to him due to his inability to excel, being held back by all of the white privilege

Sounds like justice to me.

All these anecdotal threads, from both sides do nothing for me. To hear one day about the kid who found his dads gun and killed someone, or himself. Than the next day we hear about some bad guy that got killed by someone defending themselves. What is the point ?

It is like a gun control tennis match.

Are we suppose to add them all up at the end of some period of time and declare a winner ?

Both sides continuing to exaggerate the other position, (crazy gun owner vs throw all the guns in the ocean liberal)is IMO just a waste of time.

There has to be some middle ground where reasonable people can discuss if the current system of controls is adequate or maybe better said, can't be improved. And if the answer to that question is they can, than how.

Maybe you should take up knitting instead of blogging?
