Everyone is inherently racist to some extent. Tribalism. It's built in.
I might agree that people are inherently tribal, but not racist.
People do tend to want to be with like-minded people, but race doesn't always come in to play.
For example, I am usually drawn to military people and horse people - their race is never a factor in my relationship with them. I also want to surround myself with strong, independent women, and race is never a factor.
When I took research statistics in graduate school the professor said you can use statistics to prove anything.
Can intellectuals be racist? Hitler surrounded himself with philosophers and people with doctorates. They were all racist.
I was not impressed with the article referenced by this post.
Racists come in all colors and with a diverse educational background.
That being said, I feel the educational standards in this country are slipping. I watch Fox New interview some people from Princeton and Harvard. Some could not identify the first president of the United States.
