I just want to thank the KU community for all you have done in the past many years.

Years ago I asked KU for work for my remodeling company when I was going thru a divorce and many of you gave me work for a long time and helped me get back on my feet. A while back I was in the hospital and many of you helped me with things I needed but couldn't afford. Yall have been a blessing to me and my family. Every job I get I do my best to do the best for each of you because I am very grateful.

Now I need prayer for my 17 year old son Ryan who was involved in an accident around 3 am Monday morning when his mother and 3 sisters were all coming back from San Antonio and my ex wife allowed my 15 year old daughter to drive, she was tired and eventually fell asleep and when she woke up and saw she was going off of the road she jerked the wheel and the truck began flipping. Everyone was banged up pretty good with the exception of the driver and my 8 year old. Ryan didn't have his seat belt on and was thrown about the truck and fractured his neck in several places the worst being C7. We were given 2 options: Surgery or try a neck brace to see if it would work. So he is in a huge neck brace that he will have to wear for the next 8 weeks or unless he continues to have pain or the bleeding in his neck gets worse then they will opt to operate.

All I am asking for is prayer. I believe in Jesus and I know He answers prayer.

It surely was a blessing. If i can get the photo's out of my phone I will post the photos of the truck and of Ryan and my other children who were hurt. Thanks for your prayers!

Vertebral fractures take a long time to heal. Be patient, It can take more than a year for it to totally heal.

Ryan condition was upgraded to a regular floor. He was on a floor that was a step down from ICU, so he is doing better. Thanks for all of your prayers.
