Voting for something before you read it is failing.

Voting for something before you read it is failing.

That is exactly what the Trumpers just did....

SoupIsGoodFood --- 8 years ago -

No. There was no vote.

Try again.

smartypants --- 8 years ago -

If there was a vote and it went down, it would have been a defeat.

Utter failure is more like what happened today. GOP and SCROTUS ran away with their tails between their legs.

Glorious.

Once again...watch Obamacare implode and then tell me how much you like it.

fuzz81 --- 8 years ago -

TrumpCare imploded yesterday. Lasted 0 days. Did you like it?

Get a flippin' grip people ! A so called BBD( that's Bigger Better Deal so get your mind out of the gutter...)was presented and both sides actually worked together and found fault in it and agreed to scrap it. This shows me a whole gaggle of people actually read it first and decided not to pass it. What is the problem here? Isn't this how it is suppose to work?

AMDG --- 8 years ago -

Need sleep. - I have a real problem with rushing that bill to the floor, to spend a week trying to sell it to all your party, and after that fails threaten them with an all or nothing vote.

That tells me it was more about a headline or a "win" then a real attempt to give the American people a real solution.

And please don't tell me when it fails, you will have a better bill coming - if you thought there was a better plan - why did you work so hard on this one.

needsleep --- 8 years ago -

AMDG, as I said "so called BBD"..pubs and dems read it and thought it was not in the best interest at this time so it was scrapped. Back to the drawing board with hopefully a better idea what is wanted and not wanted...Isn't that how it's suppose to work? I for one was VERY glad health care wasn't cut off at the knees to prove a point. I don't get all the vitriol between people and the parties.

AMDG --- 8 years ago -

Agree on the vitriol, I do think this administration was more concerned with the headline, than with putting forward a good bill.

Now let's see if president trump can be a real leader. Can he put forth a clear vision of his healthcare reform that truly helps people, can he build a coalition of moderates from both parties, and have them focus on results and not politics He is the potus it is all up to him now where this goes.
