I was a voice of reason (not THE VOR) during a time of great madness. I coined the phrase, "Make love, not war". Where others were chanting, "Burn, baby burn", I talked about love, and peace and understanding. I cherished every one of my posts, and I dearly wish I had written some more. And I think that if you had experienced even a little bit of them back in the day, you might feel the same way too. lol. 

Pretty sure you never left. LOL . Someone on here LOVES to take old screen names from previous posters. It's a pattern.

I am not her. However, I am tinman. I tried to use my old handle, but, the system said that it was already in use. When I obliterated, I figured that would happen, but, was hoping it wouldn't.

Having said that, I am back. I may not be as active as I used to be, but, I do intend to stick my nose in there every once in a while.

I actually lifted that quote from "Field of Dreams". The part about my posts was actually about Terrance Mann's books, but, I thought it was funny to sub in the part about my posts.

Being witty and good looking is a normal part of my day, but, I really don't consider myself a narcissist.

I'd be ok with Chunk and KU coming back, but, not the other two. Does Oma still have that alt site where no one posted for years at a time? If so, Ima gonna go on over there and see about stirring the pot a little.....

It really is me. I was just fine with being a mod until my wife became ill. I will be the first to admit that I didn't have the mental capacity to deal with her illness and with this board at the same time. I took everything on here way to personally and lost my perspective.

That's why I chose to obliterate completely and take a long break from here. I appreciate you remembering me though!

I tried to get it back but was told it was in use. Maybe if I tried my old log in it would work? I hope I wrote it down somewhere.... 

You self obliterated so you can't sign back in since the account was shut down. That's precisely why you could have chosen your old name. But you cannot use the same email address. It can only be used once on this site even if you closed it at one time.so maybe that's why it wouldn't allow you to get the name now. Did you try to use your same address for this account?
