**THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD**PLEASE, FORWARD TO City of HoustonWest bound Traffic going towards the freeway...that wants to turn south onHidden Pines into Woodland Hills Village, has a RED light to turn south, while the traffic continuing WEST bound with a GREEN light! It takes two cycles of light changesbefore the light changes to green (arrow), so this has caused at least "two" vehiclesthat DID turn south on a red light...to the center island...then waiting for that next light to cross North Park b/c drivers becoming frustrated with thepro-longed RED light.PLEASE re-program this light toallow for more vehicle safety. Why would WEST bound trafficthat has a green light, and notthe protected turning lane havea RED light...to the next light, in the island area,to then cross North Park's (east bound traffic) ?
Report it here.http://www.houstontx.gov/311/
just call 311
Seemed OK a few minutes ago.Looks like the light is programmed for a prioritized east-west flow on Northpark. I'm a frequent user of the light and was VERY grateful when it was installed.
Posting it here ain't going to fix it. Call the freakin city.
Are you always this bitter, Judy?
