Wonder if the increased visibility has improved sales? Seeing that makes me NOT want to shop there.

So ugly. :(

whatchamacallit --- 6 years ago -

I hate it when new construction removes all the trees and underbrush in the area. With Kroger, I would guess that they are trying to remind people that they are there, since HEB moved and is luring people right down the street. Between the new Kroger and the new HEB that little Kroger in back has some serious competition. I would not be surprised if they close soon.

andreweggplant --- 6 years ago -

Yep, all thing things are starting to grow back.. if they were going to do what they did they could have put in a ground cover or mulch the whole thing instead of around each tree. Would have looked a little better...

Saturn --- 6 years ago -

I agree ...

It does look pretty nasty.

DVaz --- 6 years ago -

I would not be surprised if they close soon.?

I doubt it. That place is packed most of the time when I'm there. It's convenient for many subdivisions along Mills Branch & Ford Rd.

It is I WhyWhyWhy --- 6 years ago -

That Kroger always smells bad. I won't shop there.

Tryingto --- 6 years ago -

I like the little Walmart on Northpark. It is small, kept up nicely, and the prices are good:)

DVaz --- 6 years ago -

Remember, the true Porter one closed. The northeast part of Kingwood and much of Porter find it easier to shop here than anywhere else.

Ashes --- 6 years ago -

I agree. It looks awful now. I miss the trees. We are moving to Mills Branch in about a week.. And will continue to shop at HEB. Better prices anyway. I guess you can call me a tree hugger :)

I haven't gone to Kroger since their meat fraud issue.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 6 years ago -

What?? What meat fraud?

From 2012. I don't forgive easily.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 6 years ago -

Yuck..

RedMulch --- 6 years ago -

Come to the Marketplace on Northpark and 59. Pretty, best produce ever, and no pink slime. I am impressed with them totally.

whatchamacallit --- 6 years ago -

I had forgotten about WLH opening up to Mills. Surely those in that area use the Kroger in back.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 6 years ago -

Mulch, is that the woman who used to be at Town Center park?

EllieD --- 6 years ago -

I think Randall''s is on it's last leg now that HEB has opened. That place is always empty.

DVaz --- 6 years ago -

I think Randall''s is on it's last leg now that HEB has opened. That place is always empty.?

Its overpricing was its downfall. Even Kroger's eventually lowered its prices.

jackass --- 6 years ago -

Randalls was always empty 10 yrs ago...

DVaz --- 6 years ago -

LMAO, try twenty+ when there was one in the Northpark Shopping Centre as well. Before Kroger's that was the only chain Kingwood had. HEB in Porter or Atascocita were dumps and we only had Holiday Foods or Jamail's, Albertson's was an epic failure after Holiday Foods.

Texvette --- 6 years ago -

I like how they cleaned the brush & trimmed the trees

Ashes --- 6 years ago -

I only run in Kroger, if I forgot something from HEB, and don't feel like driving all the way back to HEB.

Miss Understanding --- 6 years ago -

WHAT IS TAKING THEM SO LONG??? I AM REFUSING TO SHOP THERE UNTIL THEY FINISH THEIR 'BEAUTIFACATION'!!! THEY'RE STREET SIGN IS JUST A PILE OF BRICKS!

WE SHOULD START CALLING THE MANAGMENT ALL OF US.

EllieD --- 6 years ago -

I used to shop at Kroger all the time but I find them constantly out of stock on a lot of stuff lately
