Stay safe everyone.

We are flooded at the apartments by skarkys, water is starting to enter 1st floor! If anyone has boats or large trucks to help please do!

Critic --- 6 years ago -

Why didn't you all evacuate days ago. This is tragically silly.

You blame everyone, but yourselves. It's almost as if thousands of you waited for the accident to come to your door. It's pitiful.

Kristin --- 6 years ago -

I saw sheriff's trucks with trailers of boats going towards the bridge a hour ago.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 6 years ago -

It says on Nextdoor that parts of Woodstream are flooded- also, Channel 2 says Kingwood Dr. will be totally underwater, shortly-

Blaze --- 6 years ago -

Some streets in riverchase are flooding

KW1997 --- 6 years ago -

Does anyone have information about the apartments immediately south of Kingwood High School? Are they still accessible and are the flooding? How badly did they flood in 94?

a5831461uu --- 6 years ago -

Hey Critic... Harbor Cove mgmt didn't warn us that the parking lot floods. We had no idea it would be THAT bad. Many people don't have anywhere to go. I live on the 3rd floor, so I thought I was safe. The flooding was up to the YMCA - who could predict that? No one warned us that we should get out! Certainly not the MGM remains of Harbor Cove

DVaz --- 6 years ago -

Harbor Cove didn't have to,but should have warned you. Fact is you blew it off then came here to vent your frustrations. Look at my posts, I told you this was 1994 all over again.

Dvaz - well, I guess you should be the mayor or something. I don't live on Kingwood.com like you all obviously do. I also wasn't here in 1994. I have no clue what you are talking about. Nice of you to be a complete B/tch to someone experiencing the worst of a disaster, thanks! I do fault my apartment complex for not letting us know that there was a good chance of flooding. I would have left!

Critic --- 6 years ago -

It's just common sense. You don't have to wait for someone to tell you to do something, to do something.

mutton --- 6 years ago -

Yes critic, we all knew how catastrophic it would be but chose to stay...

I guess the crystal balls were not working in the rain last week to be able to tell everyone who would flood and who would not.

I was here in 1994 and it flooded but no where near the extent of this one and those apartments may have had water in the parking lot or maybe a little in the first floor but nothing of this magnitude...

Be grateful you are alive to see the sun rise amidst the chaos...

It's Another troll acting like a fool when we need it least. Classy.

The good news is, lots and lots of people are helping and caring.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 6 years ago -

yep- only a troll would post something that insensitive-

Saturn --- 6 years ago -

The section of MBV that I'm in, did not flood.

In fact, if you look up and down my Cul du Sac, you'd never know that Harvey was even here.

I'm very fortunate considering what happened in WoodStream Village just to the East here. There are so many homes back there that flooded and the devastation is just mind boggling.
