My family goes to Chick fi-A on Friday nights. It seems to me that the place has gone down. Employees are not trained as well as in the past, and there is a lack of professionalism. I always felt it was a great place to take my family, but no longer. It is just me or do others see the same thing?
Well, since the flood they have hired lots of new people and have been fully operational just a few weeks.
Did you happen to speak to the manager? I am confident with the standards the company prefers they would be interested in specifics. Might be a better solution than posting on a message board and allow your family to enjoy that restaurant on Friday nights in the future.
Yes, I have contacted the management. It is because of the high standards that I am surprised about the lack of professionalism. Thanks for your response. If others have seen the same thing, management will be more likely to improve. Again, thanks for your reply
Thanks for you reply. Yes, I have contacted the management before posting on a public message board. Glad you have not seen a decline in service, but that was NOT my experience on my last visit. Chick Fil A has always had my business because of their values and their ability to stand up against those who want to silence them. I would hate for a few employees' actions to hurt a wonderful, family friendly business.
Well, when I was in there the other day, I noticed several things that were different. They had obviously remodeled and updated after the hurricane, which was nice but I don't care for the roped off section at the front that is supposed to form a line for ordering...seems really a waste of time and just a bother.
Also, there were almost, if not all, new employees on the line. I would imagine that many of the good employees they had are the ones that really needed their jobs. Those people probably had to find other work instead of waiting for for CFA to reopen.
The employees there now, that are new, were nice but haven't had time to become as good as the ones that were lost after the hurricane.
As for the food, it was good, as always except that this time, the food was not nearly as hot as usual. I hope they are not changing the temperature of the warming trays as that is one of the things I love about the CFA in back is that the food is always very hot and not room temperature. The one in the front, the food is not ever hot enough and doesn't seem fresh.
Anyway, CFA is always my favorite fast food as it always tastes good, it's always clean, the service is quick and polite. The one in the back is my favorite of the three in the area.
My issue was with the CFA on Kingwood Drive in the back of Kingwood. The manager's lack of professionalism in handling a situation caused her behavior to be the issue. I agree. I have gone to the one by HWY 59 and have always had a great experience.
Since you are so vague on your complaint is hard to know the issue. Maybe you just need to say what your problem is.
Yes, I noticed the service was little less smooth but chalked it up to being new employees and getting off the ground in less than ideal circumstances. They really worked hard to have it back open fast, they worked around the clock.
I also liked the old layout better. It looked warmer inside before somehow, but it isn't a big deal. I was disappointed the first time I went inside but getting used to it. It looks like they had a tight budget and cut corners.
Also they didn't replace some features of the playground. I wish they would have upgraded it when they had the chance because I love taking my little nephew there and he misses the play things that were on the wall.
But none of it is a deal breaker. Still clean, good consistent food and polite employees .
Well you are still complaining but haven't really said what the problem is for you. Look, its fast food. It not haute cuisine. It is a step above most places of the same caliber. They bring the food to your table. They even put fresh flowers on the table for crying out loud. It's clean and the employees are polite. THe food product is consistent.
