I stand up for the flag and I will do so with the last ounce of energy in me. I don't do so out of a sense of patriotism; I do it for those buddies of mine that can no longer stand and whose flag draped coffin I escorted. I stand no only for them but for their children so that they can see that the sacrifice of their dad is remembered and appreciated. I stand because I know that they would do so for me. I stand not only in support of the Constitution but also for the hope for the freedom of man that the flag represents. I stand in thanks of our founders who risked their lives and their fortunes to establish this nation.
