Mueller's office put out a message that the Buzzfeed story about Pres Trump telling Cohen to lie to Congress was not accurate. MORE FAKE NEWS. When will the media ever learn!

sdanielmcev --- 27 days ago -

More Theater of the absurd.

DVaz --- 27 days ago -

Buzzfeed reporting real news. That'll be the day. Shouldn't they be banned from social media for deliberately spreading lies and "fake" news...

OrdinaryGuy --- 27 days ago -

What gets me is that all the news outlets picked the story up and all you heard was "if true". In other words all they were doing was spreading gossip which they called news. That's why I don't watch any of them. Their bias is so blatant!

OrdinaryGuy --- 27 days ago -

Notice no liberals got on this thread. They are so devastated that the story was FAKE. They were so sure they had Trump this time. LMFAO

DVaz --- 26 days ago -

Liberals would probably kill themselves if they actually lived in reality instead of Hollywood MSM.

sdanielmcev --- 26 days ago -

I'm kind or surprised how much credibility this seems to be costing the main stream media.

OrdinaryGuy --- 26 days ago -

That's true. I guess their hatred of the President blinds them. I feel sorry for them.

Liberals actually have lives, especially on the weekend, and they don't live on KU like you do.

But I'll bite.

The story wasn't fake, and Buzzfeed is currently standing by their story.

The comments Mueller made were very carefully crafted, and he in no way implied that the story was "fake," as the trump sheep like to bleat on a consistent basis, but rather there were some "inaccuracies."

Woodward and Bernstein got some things wrong too, and we know how that still turned out.

Liberals would probably kill themselves if they actually lived in reality instead of Hollywood MSM.

Says those who lick the boots of a D List "celebrity" and failed businessmen.

Jason Leopold, who authored the "story", has had several stories pulled over the years for gross inaccuracies and even plagiarism, as well as having been fired from numerous liberal media outlets, dating back to the W. Bush presidency. He's an activist, not a writer, and only cites "anonymous sources" in this "bombshell" report, that hysterically blew up in the face of the breathless liberal media. Even CNN's head political reporter said they had a black eye over not corroborating the story and that it's a perfect example of why people don't believe the mainstream media anymore.

SodaPopAndRitalin --- 25 days ago -

Jason Leopold isn't an activist; he's an Emmy nominated producer and has received The Thomas Jefferson Award from the MRFF.
He has written for outstanding outlets such as Al Jazeera America and his pieces have been published by The WSJ, Asia Times, and The Nation.

He is responsible for the State Department being forced to release Hillary's emails - he's been described as a Freedom of Information Act Terrorist due his relentless quest for the truth and transparency.

That isn't to say he doesn't make mistakes, or receive inaccurate information. But inaccurate doesn't necessarily equate to fake or false, and again, Mueller's language was very specific; no denial was made as to the overall content.

Republicans are so hell bent on defending trump on EVERYTHING. He could, as he's said, literally kill someone on 5th Avenue and his supporters would turn a blind eye, so it's no surprise that they wouldn't believe any information that came out that didn't paint him as the savior they believe he is.

There are three sides to every story - yours, mine, and the truth. I suppose once Cohen goes before Congress we will get a little more information; until then, we can't say definitively that the Buzzfeed information is "fake." We can only go by Mueller's comments about inaccuracies.

You need to listen harder. The story was false. Buzzfeed was the one to publish the famous "Russian dossier" that turned out to be totally false. But believe what you will. It won't be the first time you've been fooled by the mainstream media.

Once again a liberal brushes aside something that doesn't fit into his agenda. The fact that it's the first time Mueller has said anything doesn't matter to him.

No. That is how stories are spun. And, since the author cannot corroborate the story, then that becomes a falsehood.

OrdinaryGuy --- 24 days ago -

I do believe Mueller called the story not accurate. FAKE NEWS AGAIN!

Prolix Raconteur --- 23 days ago -

2 massive flops in 2 days by the MSM (Friday buzzfeed fiasco and the subsequent pile on, Saturday fabricated narrative of racist white kids harassing an Indian). Shows the absolutely delusional level of hysteria they suffer in addition to a total lack of objective news reporting. It's laughable anybody believes anything they see or read from mainstream media outlets anymore, yet...here they are.

So true!

OrdinaryGuy --- 23 days ago -

Buzzfeed announces they are going to layoff 15% of their workforce which is 100's of jobs. Maybe they should verify their stories before they publish them.
