Why do you think some people seem so miserable day in and day out, just toxic personalities??

My Dad use to say, "some people are JUST programmed WRONG". I'm thinking he was right.

OrdinaryGuy --- 37 days ago -

Either that or they just like to stir up trouble. Some people think it's funny in their warped way of thinking.

TinktheSprite --- 36 days ago -

"Programmed" or something deep down troubles them. Identifiable or not, it rules their life.

That seems so true. They can never be happy no matter how good things get. Their hatred seems to get in the way of them seeing the true state of things

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 36 days ago -

Is being miserable a state of their choice of attitude or reactions to things perceived?

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 36 days ago -

Some people always see the glass as half empty. Who knows why.

Joe Blow --- 36 days ago -

Some people are victims of their circumstances.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 35 days ago -

We're ALL victims of circumstance, are we not? Not everyone in tough or unfair situations treat others badly. Some suffer horrible circumstances and still don't. In fact they try and help others bc of what they've suffered.

It's a choice to be miserable, negative and hateful

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 35 days ago -

I didn't even vote for him. Lol. It's best not to judge others without the facts.

OrdinaryGuy --- 35 days ago -

I wonder whose alt VOR is.

KwMillennial --- 35 days ago -

“The Miserable” is always someone else. How many people that any of us believe are negative and miserable actually self identify with those same labels?

They probably don’t. They see themselves as positive because they are identifying issues that they believe can be so much better with the right care and attention. Other people will view others who challenge their views as negative simply because they were happy in their blissful lack of friction and view that challenge as a negative influence because it interrupts their bliss.

There’s a very simple attraction to divisive comparisons of good people versus bad, positive people versus negative people, and so on. Deep down it’s probably a vanity issue or a self esteem issue for those that like to make those divisive comparisons. That divisive effort is very easy to do and it redirects the issue as being just about a person rather than the issue being discussed.

Why are milkshakes being thrown at the far right politicians? What a waste of nutritious food for veganism.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 34 days ago -

"A vanity issue"

Wow. Lol. Divisive comparisons. You'd have to be blind not to see it, or in defensive mode.

KwMillennial --- 34 days ago -

Yes. I can admit that I’m just as human as anyone and can be prone to explaining things in divisive terms when I don’t apply enough intellectual rigor to my thoughts. Good observation.

Can you admit the same?

OrdinaryGuy --- 34 days ago -

Can you admit the same?

She doesn't have to admit anything.

Does anyone else beside me think this thread is HILARIOUS?

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 34 days ago -

It’s a disease. You’ve now caught it too.

Apparently wisdom does not come with age.

You prove my point all the time. When you can't defend your side you use an insult. You need to try a little harder. LOL
